I was more disappointed by the VT offense than I was impressed with Kansas. I do give KU credit for getting reliable pressure on the QB and Talib played a fantastic game at CB.
I'm with ElTurco--people rip the Big Ten all the time, but the ACC hasn't won a BCS game in years and most haven't been close. The second best ACC team (BC) barely beat the Big Ten's 7th best team (MSU) in a game where Michigan State's QB had the worst day of his career and BC played very well overall. UVA, the 3rd best ACC team, lost to TTU, no better than the 5th best team in the Big 12.

I don't have any problem with the championship game, it's the bowls themselves that screwed up this year, specifically, the Orange and Rose Bowls.
Give Kansas credit for making good on their opportunity to play in the Orange Bowl, but Missouri is still the team that should have been there. Missouri would have won too, and probably by more than just three points.
In retrospect, 30 percent of the BCS bowl slots went to teams that might not have finished any higher than fifth place if they played in the Big 12--you can make a pretty good argument that Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, and Texas are all better than Virginia Tech, Illinois, and Hawaii. And those three would finish even lower in the SEC.
Oh well, it's a beauty pageant, not a championship tournament. Hopefully Missouri won't get screwed again next year if they repeat as a Top 10 team/Big 12 runners-up.
