Joakim Noah or Al Horford?

Post#1 » by ATL DirtyBird » Wed Apr 14, 2010 1:55 am

If you could have one of these guys on your team, who would you want?
Tough question.
Id take Noah, I think.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Noah is good...but Horford has played him better head 2 head,has a higher PER,much better plus/minus,on a better team,etc.

I like them both, but I prefer Al. I think he has a little better offensive game.

By far Al Horford. Noah is good though.
GO HAWKS.

Al has a better all around game, he is better offensively and the things Noah do well doesn't make up for his deficiences as a scorer. Horford is perfect for the Hawks, i'm not sure if Noah would be. We would struggle to score points in the paint even more than we do know.

Our offense would be even worse than it is now.

Al does have the better all-around skills, but Noah is much more apt to take over a game. Personally, I'd take Noah, but it's a close call. Being a Gator fan, I would have really loved to see a team find a way to get both of them in the draft (Brewer too for that matter) as they complimented each other well and had great camaraderie on the court.
