By the way, just to return to the game for a minute, MIL shot the LAST 22 FT ATTEMPTS. That's 22 (for them) to nothing (for us).

****EDIT
I didn't want to just edit that above because it might change other's posts who responded to it, but the Bucks actually shot the last 20 FT attempts. I remember, at some point in the 3rd, that we had shot 17 FTs while they were 7-9. Last night, I mistakenly subtracted the 7 made FTs rather than the 9 attempted FTs from the final total of 29.

By the way, HMFFL, you mistakenly added Dunleavy to that list. I'm sure you didn't mean that.

I just put together a list of the more known names, so it's not who I want, but on the list Avery would most likely be my top choice. JVG would possibly be interested Coaching here, but I expect him to decline all offers from the majority of the lottery teams.

Yeah, the idea of JVG would excite me. I just don't understand why Joe Johnson is so fixated on Woodson. I understand they have build a nice relationship, but even Joe should know that the Hawks are underachieving and Woodson is a key reason as to why they're underachieving.

Woodson is determined that we base our offense on iso's by Joe. Think that might influence Joe's thinking?

Wow, I was unaware of that fact. Not sure if I should be mad at the refs for that, or not. That seems ridiculous, but the Hawks did stop attacking the basket like they should have thanks to Woodson.

Scott Skiles is a beast. To come back and take three straight, after getting blown out the first two games and looking outmatched, is a testament to his ability and skills as a coach. This dude is running circles around Woodson's fat, ugly head. Good lord, I'm jealous. Must be nice having a competent coach.

About the new coach: we are so very, very dependent on (at least decent) PG play that we'd better hire a guy who can develop point guards.

Avery Johnson: 194-70 .734
Byron Scott: 346-355 .493
Mike Dunleavy: 592-688 .462
Eddie Jordan: 257-343 (.428)
Rick Carlisle: 386-270 (.588) Mark Cuban may send Rick packing if the Spurs upset Dallas. Rick has been starting Eric Dampier during the playoffs except during the blowout victory during game five. He is basically making Haywood's choice easy to leave during the off-season.

I wish Doug Collins would come out of retirement, not to just be an option for us, but also for other teams.

I'd be super ecstatic if we got Avery Johnson. I feel like he got the wrong end of the stick in Dallas. Carlisle is a good choice too. I was warming up with the idea of Woody coaching here for continuity sake if ASG is cheap... but Woody needs to go. If not those two coach, I would go with a top assistant.

Feels good to vent after the tough loss. It's making it easier to accept it, but it still hurts.

Marvin had an excellent game which probably means his done producing for the rest of the year.

Since it has been a subject of talk lately, the crowd was there and loud tonight. Fan support didn't give up a 14 point run late in the 4th.

How about Joe to MIN for some of those extra PGs they have? They're crying for a SG over there.

I'd be shocked if the Hawks hired someone like JVG-SHOCKED. Woody and the Hawks could set the bar so low w/ losing this series that the Hawks could hire anyone for dirt cheap and the fans wouldn't care as long as it was someone other than Woody.

The refs did make some questionable calls (I felt that Jamal was hacked a couple times under the basket when we got called for that). But take into account that most of those were due to Ridnour and Jennings getting the pick and driving on a big.

Can anyone tell me what in the way of basketball skill does Zaza bring?

Zaza's not even close to being a problem. The guy hustles, bangs, grabs rebounds, sets picks, scores around the basket...

He even knows that he should play the "bad guy" role come playoff time.

Instead of selling out pick to pay JJ, they should be concerned about getting a competent coach who can actually coach. I've loved JJ since day1, but I've also said that we should let him go or try a s&t. He's a great guy and very talented, but he can't lead us anywhere near elite. I love players like Ilyasova, dude works hard from the time he steps on the court, very coachable as well.

Zaza's a big problem... There's no bench help except for Evans and Crawford. He sets pick but that's a problem too because they would just double the heck out of the dribbler. He bangs but can't defend. He's one of the worse defensive rebounder in the NBA. He scores around the basket? More like flop or a TO waiting to happen around the basket. Many think he brought "toughness" to the team but like Kenny Smith said those toughness that he brought (like hacking the guard or bigs that drove by him) are cheaphots and that it is after the fact. Zaza and Woody both need to go. Right now there should be only a 7 man rotation.

Our entire team barring Marvin and Horford played like hot garbage, and our coach has shown a massive inability to coach or think logically... and you're harping on ZAZA? Really?
