The way I'd like to see it;

1st rd pick- DT Suh or McCoy(whoever available)
2nd rd pick- WR Benn
2nd rd pick- CB Ghee
3rd rd pick- DE Wooten
4th rd pick- WR Shipley
5th rd pick- SS Asante
6th rd pick- OT J Fox
7th rd pick- P Mesko
7th rd pick- DE Greg Hardy
7th rd pick- OT Landolt
7th rd pick- OG Lauvao

McCoy was a great pick up at 3.

I think he'll be a much better fit and [player for the Bucs.

Well done.

Really glad they were able to get Benn ! I preferred Brandon Ghee at CB than Myron Lewis.

I actually like Lewis a little better as a cover 2 corner than Ghee so I can't say I'm too disappointed about that pick.

Got some very good receivers in this draft so far but i am a little bit worried about Mike Williams. Great talent, great potential, but there is no veteran presence to steer him in the right direction to being good off the field. Hopefully he is mature enough to be good off the field. But love that the Bucs just got some help for Freeman.

I LOVED the draft. We got great players at positions of need. Mike Williams will be the steal of the draft, no doubt in my mind.

Like I said in another thread on this board (and got criticized for), the Bucs will be a .500 team (7-9 at worse) this coming season.

I hope your prediction is spot on, but I seriously doubt that this team as-is will win more than 4-6 games.

That is my feeling, Bucs will have a top ten pick in 2011 .

Well, I think I was maybe being too much optimistic and coming off the high of the draft. I think AT BEST, we'll be 7-9. I think this is the season where we grow up, learn from mistakes, come together as a team, etc.

2011 is the year where we'll be a contender again. I really like the young pieces we have. I think we could even have a shot at .500 this season, but its not likely. Its possible, but not probable.

Bucs filled all their holes and added depth through rookies not FAs(aside from S Jones and R Brown) .

Which is exactly their plan. Hopefully these rooks can step up and be impactful on the field this year.

I think the rookie WRs and DTs will have an impact and produce this season, just not enough to have a 7 win season or compete for playoffs.

Some of you guys are really pessimistic. Have ya'll seen our schedule this year? We'll definitely have at least 5 wins. And add in to the fact that we may surprise a team or two, thats 6 or 7 wins IMO.

I think we just improved TOO much through the draft for us not to be light years better than last year. Add in to the fact that Freeman AND Stroughter have been working hard ALL offseason, and now those two are taking Benn and Williams under their wins, we're going to be tons better this season.

Have ya'll been checking the bucs website daily during the rookie minicamp? Apparently Mike Williams is tearing it up. I'm so eager for training camp and preseason to start. We are going to be one of the pleasant surprises this season. Most "experts" still have us as one of the worst 3 teams again this year, but we won't be.

i'm normally not this optimistic about my teams, but I just have a feeling we'll be surprised this year. But NEXT year is when we'll make our big leap.

Hope you are right, but lets face it.....there were a LOT of holes to fill on a team that was rarely competitive
