I do that deal in a heartbeat.

If TOR wanted to play hardball I think it would be Turkoglu's 2 pack a day habit for Dunleavy's expiring in addition to the expirings plus youngsters request. I don't think that any teams are going to give them great assets in trade, the best they're going to get will be a large chunk of expiring money and two or three young bodies/picks.

I am fine with that also. It's a lot of money to take on in Hedo/Bosh, but God bless it'd be worth it. Their production alone is way better than what we'd be losing. Even if Bosh get's the max contract, I'm fine w/ that, he's a top ten player in the league. That'd bring tons of fans and attention to Indiana. Plus, Bosh + Granger being on the same team will make the rest of the guys on the court that much better.

I'd take Harris and Brook Lopez over any of these "packages".

you're saying you would take harris and lopez for granger and hibbert? what's the point?

why would you even do that? harris and lopez are NOT franchise players... they will not bring championships in the cp3, dwill, durant, melo, roy, oden, dwight, lebron, wade, bosh, amare, griffin era... unless we have any of these players... we will NOT be contendors... so there is no point in talking about these scrub players until we land someone nice.. until then it's a patience game and obviously working on role players...

now if you're considering lopez and harris to be our other two stars.. and then getting one of the players i mentioned above... then it's a different ball game.. but i wouldn't give up GRANGER and hibbert for these two.. b/c i think our combo will potentially be better...

i say we trade granger on draft day for a top 2 pick and some money ... and then continue our plan to get rid of m.dunleavy, murphy, tj ford, and a few other players that SUCK.

I think Lopez has a lot of room to grow. He's definitely going to be a star.

Read the thread, man. I said I think that Granger+Hibbert for Lopez/Harris is a lateral move. I'm just saying that some of the above like Bargnani/Calderon and JR Smith/Lawson (!?) are NOT worth the same as Granger.

whatever ****, i'll take these deals (exept bargnani/calderon.. that was my fault) over harris and lopez any day.. there is a reason why they have the worst record in the nba buddy.... i'm glad you're not running the pacers office.. and even if you were.. i wouldn't be able to tell because they're also doing a poor job. .. with Miller being your fav player i would figure you would know a little more about this game... but it's cool.. have fun bro and remember Danny Granger is NOT a franchise player.

This thread is going nowhere, and you're trolling. If anybody wants to talk about trading Granger, have at it. We're not here to insult each other's GM skills just because our opinion is different.

I have no idea what Granger's worth is, but I think the Wolves would have enough pieces to entice the Pacers. It's just a matter of fit.

If the Wolves miss out on Turner, I would find a way to trade the #3 + Al for Granger + #10, then whatever filler is needed. Unfortunately that leaves the Pacers with a bit of a hole at SF. But a Hibbert/Al/Cousins or Favors frontcourt seems pretty solid.

Assets from the Wolves to consider:
Sessions- Solid PG who I think would fit well
Gomes- Waive. Partially guaranteed contract to provide cap relief.
#16 and #23 picks

Basically unless we're getting Turner, Granger stays put. I'm willing to hang on to #10. We have Hibbert, Murphy, and great young guys in Hansbrough and McBob. I'd like to see them get minutes and Al Jefferson would create a big man log jam, and do nothing to help our post D.

Agreed, Granger is one of the few guys on our team who can create his own shot from the perimeter. Teams would just pack it in and dare us to make a play from the outside, which I'm not sure we could do.

Which is exactly what happened to the Wolves this season. I don't think Turner drops to #3, and the Wolves would most certainly take him at #2. Turner + Al for Granger is too much.

It looks like any MN/INDY trade would have to involve a third team.

If we gave them Murphy, Rush, Hansbrough, and TJ plus a #1 in 2011 or 12 for Bosh and Calderon they might do that but we'd be in a cap mess long term. I don't like Calderon that much and I have no reason to believe that Bosh wants to play for the Pacers.
