JR to TNA?

Post#1 » by CapeCrusader » Wed Apr 21, 2010 12:28 am

http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/wwe-n ... vealed.php

For those who don't wanna read:

Multiple sources are now reporting Ross met with TNA Chief Financial Officer Dean Broadhead, Dixie Carter and her father Bob Carter earlier this month. Apparently Ross was looking for a deal that included more than announcing where he could function as a top executive in the company.

He also requested Vince Russo out of creative before even considering working for the company.

JR would be a nice add for them. He put over a ton of guys.

And he's dead on with Russo.

Plus he has a great eye for talent. He signed Angle, Lesnar, Swagger, Cena  and others...

Wow, this would be huge for TNA.

I'd hate to see it happen. For me, It'd be like pierce wearing a lakers jersey.

Pierce in a Lakers jersey is a good comparison (for a C's fan), but I would still love to see this happen. I'm really smitten with TNA right now. I hung out with the friend of mine who got me back into wrestling today, and all I talked about was TNA.

Plus, Russo gone is addition by subtraction!

I dunno how great it would be for JR with his relationship with WWE. But he would make TNA that much better as an overall product.

Well if JR were to sign with TNA, I think he would be more behind the scenes working with talent and all that important stuff. But on top of everything else he could always do double duty like he has in the past and 3 commentators would not be bad either.

If JR goes to TNA he's one of the announcers. He's too damn good at it. Now to go with three is possible.

When you're the GOAT, is not every team your rival?

Since you had to get all sassy though, I reverse my decision. JHF is the sole winner of the draft, per executive order.

Just saying Vikings and Packers have been rivals forever....Lakers and Celtics samething. Pretty sure the Knicks were never rivals with the Sonics and Magic.

Can you really consider WWE and TNA rivals? That was my point.

Sure why not? especially since they moved to Monday Nights....be it as it may. Its no WCW vs WWF, but I sure think they're rivals at this point and im sure others do to by there comments in the first pg...

oh come on, Pierce is from LA and grew up a Lakers fan

anyway, I always thought JR was overrated as a commentator but he seems to have a cult following, I heard a rumour he's gonna sign with HD Net to call MMA, and possibly ROH???
