Brandon Roy is out with a torn meniscus, needs surgery, likely to miss the playoffs. Ugh...

Do the Blazers have some sort of curse? My god, I'm surprised Aldridge is still playing.

So J.Oneil really sucks huh. That was a really sad playoff performance by the whole team except for Wade of course.Thats why Wade is getting out of there because they surround him with bumbs.

Re: Around the NBA [General NBA & Shanxi Zhongyu/Marbury Talk]
I mean, he played pretty solid defense and blocked 5 shots, although 4 of those came pretty early in the game. His offensive performance was down right ghastly though.
My take on O'neal is he is old and worn down, so he is a joke as a major piece a.k.a. a big minute starter who is relied upon as a major contributor.
I think he would still excel in a role as a 20mpg 1st big off the bench though for around another 2 or 3 seasons. IMO, unless he gets severely overpaid in the offseason(which is a possibilty), he will likely get a deal for 16 to 20 mill for 4 years with the 4th year being completely unguaranteed.
I think that is a really solid option for a true playoff team.
If we do well in the draft and free agency and are looking like an instant playoff team/future contender, I would welcome him with open arms in that role for that kind of coin.

So who else is loving all the funny Beasley to NJ trades popping up on the trades and transactions board? I know I am because to think... Some Heat fans had the audacity to claim Beasley would establish himself as a better player than Lopez this year

^^Yup.
BTW, it was pretty amazing seeing Brandon Roy back out there 8 days after knee surgery.
Also, Kobe has been putting up some GOAT performances of late.

Re: Around the NBA [General NBA & Shanxi Zhongyu/Marbury Talk]
Did anyone else throw up in their mouth a little bit after George Hill went all Larry Legend on the Mavs?
I still wonder what happened to that trade, did San An get cold feet and pull out or did Thorn get cocky and turn it down? What a blunder that would be on his resume if that was the case...

Roy looked like a cripple out there, I hope he's good by next season.

^^^Now watch the Suns finally beat the Spurs with a less talented squad then they had in the past.
