Problem with that analogy is that Flash already has a championship and was finals MVP.

Another problem is that the Cavs don't have cap space to add another MAX player, while the Heat do.
It's hard being a Knicks fan...

Is that a problem? They do have 12 million in expiring contracts, and they do have Shaq's bird rights that can be traded, and they have all their picks and they have Hickson, Varejao, Powe who can all be traded... and lets not forget, they have Dan Gilbert, who isn't afraid to pay out the $$$ to win....and they have LeBron.

Bosh to Cleveland is a definite possibility.

No big name/superstar free agent will go to Cleveland/Oklahoma City/Milwaukee, even if a title is imminent. The cities have little to no appeal for a young man with a lot of money.

New York/LA/Miami/Chicago/Atlanta (even Phoenix to a point) are the most attractive places for any player due to the nightlife/culture/women. It's a lot easier for celebs to blend in in NY/LA/Miami for various reasons.

Mo, Wade, Lebron, Jamison, Shaq.

DAMN!!!!!!!! That's 4.5 players that can create their own shot. And 5 players that can cram it down on Paul Pierce!

It depends on the player, besides most of these guys half of time are on road, and other half working on their game, those things shouldn't even matter...

Did you just try to imply that teams are willing to go over the cap to sign Shaq!? Be real man.

As a non Cavs fan it is understood that you take what Heath says at face value. Probably not a good idea.

Icness wrote:I've said all along that Wade is much more likely to go to NYC than Lebron. He's languishing in a minor market for a team that isn't good enough to win a playoff series, he isn't getting any national run for how freaking amazing he is, he only gets those T-Mobile ads and no other exposure even though he's great on camera. It's all the makings of a guy who wants to swim in a bigger pond. Lebron has a championship caliber team, tons of exposure and endorsements, and he keeps getting compared to Jordan and either him or Kobe are universally mentioned as the best player in the game. IMO Wade is right there with them but you never hear him mentioned. If I were him I'd go...and I wouldn't want to play with Lebron because I would know I'll be Pippen to his MJ. If I'm that great I don't want to be Scottie Pippen, I want to be my own superstar.

Wade is a single, divorced, extremely wealthy man locked in a vicious custody battle.

We have no real idea what cities he'd rule in or out just for lifestyle reasons.

Definitely not Raptors (speaking of Shaq), but it's possible. We got Varejao, Raptors love internationals.

”Is it a possibility me and LeBron will play together? It’s always a possibility,” Wade said after the Heat’s practice Tuesday at AmericanAirlines Arena. “We’re both free agents. Is it a possibility I’m going to New York? That’s not a possibility in my mind.”

I don't think Wade would give up sex parties for bomb scares.

My guess, either Bron stays in Cleveland, goes to Chicago, or goes to Miami. Wild arsed guess... he goes to Miami. Wade either stays in Miami, or goes to Chicago. My guess, he stays in Miami, and James joins him there... based on nothing more than gut feeling. Still, those two guys are the best two players in the game, in my view (along with Kobe, but Wade's a few years younger). The opportunity to play together must be pretty tantalizing for them, and the only place that can happen is in Miami.
