Oh, I'm not saying it counts for nothing because teams like the Cavs and the Lakers really play for HCA too. I'm just saying that a NBA Finals series means more than any regular season game.

not that i really care, but why do two employees of the orlando magic organization have a vote in determining the mvp? do cavs members have a vote? if they do, they shouldn't

It should easily turn into three in a row. After that there will be some healthy competition with Durant.

Durant, also watch Tyreke come into picture, Wade depending on if he gets any real help this summer.

And don't forget Telfair....

You can tell I am a Telfair fan...don't know why maybe I just like the underdog...

I can see Lebon and Durant going 1 and 2 for a very lone time, Howard shoud be in that equation too.

Dwight needs an offensive game...

Telfair wouldn't start with us if only point guard we had left is Boobie...

At the rate King James is playing, he just might get both...

Which season did you have in mind? ;)

just ask #24 ballhog how he felt after '08 finals. PP, a guy from the city that bryant plays in, outplays him head-to-head WHERE/WHEN IT REALLY MATTERS/COUNTS and the Celts outplayed the fakers in the finals WHERE/WHEN IT REALLY MATTERS/COUNTS, in the grandest stage of all, the NBA Finals and smoked'em. yeah, bryant won the reg. season mvp that yr, but ask him which would he rather have if he had to chose b/w the 2, reg season mvp or Finals MVP.

and it was for all the marbles, and he couldn't deliver. i'm trying to remember who won it before bryant, i think it was nash 2x, no finals, then dirk, lost in Finals, then bryant - lost in the Finals vs the hated Celts (ouch!), lbj last year no Finals appearance and he's repeating again this yr, hmm....let's see if he bucks the recent trend ...

This is the same dumb argument people always make. I absolutely agree that a championship is more important than an MVP. That is what people play for. But that has nothing to do with the finals MVP. Which is only given weight because it normally comes with the championship. The important part is the championship, not the award. Heck, you don't even have to be the best player on your team to win the Finals MVP, just be in the best situation during the finals. A perfect example was the 2007 series MVP award which went to Tony Parker who while he was the best player in the series was no where close to the most important player in the playoffs or on that team.

That's sorta true, same with 2008, obvious best was KG, how did Pierce get it? But are you telling me anybody else on Cavs has a chance of winning finals MVP when we win the title this year?
