After every loss I just say to myself, at least we still have the lottery to look forward to. That's not a luxury often had by teams in the second round.

How the refs missed Gasol hacking Millsap right on the forearm I do not know. Makes you really wonder what is going on if that is not a foul in LA.

Here's an amazing stat...

In the final 5 minutes of game 1 and 2 there were 24 free throws shot by both teams combined. Only 6 of those free throws were attempted by the Jazz. Imagine that. Its not like they were not attacking, because they were.

Hope things change when they go back home, but even if they do it will be impossible to win in LA because of their distinct 4th quarter advantage better known as the whistle.

I'm still confident we can steal 2 at the ESA. It's not like either loss was a blow out. Hopefully the "true blues" can drown out all of SLC's bandwagon kobe fans.

The call I thought was bogus was the foul on Deron when Artest fell down. Deron didn't even touch him and they whistle that crap right in front of the freaking ref. I didn't think the officiating has been that bad at all this series just a few bogus calls now and then. It is just a bad match up for us plain and simple.

Refs are not costing us this series!!!! Bad D and Bad rebounding are the main problems. We are also shooting poorly bc our gimmick half court offense doesnt work versus the Lakers as their coaches are smart. The Jazz need to run and gun, try to play some D, rebound, and pray because they are out manned!!!
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

I agree with HolyToledo a bit. I think we need to shoot a ton of 3s to survive LA. I think we're just going to have to outscore them because if we try to grind it out with them, they are gonna win.

Not having Okur makes this strategy a lot harder though. A lot, lot harder.

lot, lot, lot even.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."
