San Diego brings another long winning streak into the postseason on Sunday when it meets visiting Tennessee for the second time in five weeks.

The first matchup between these teams resulted in a 23-17 overtime victory for San Diego in Nashville on Dec. 9 - the Titans' only loss in their last five games.

In that contest, the Chargers (11-5) rallied from 14 points down in the fourth quarter, tying the game at 17 on a 2-yard touchdown pass from Philip Rivers to tight end Antonio Gates with 9 seconds remaining. San Diego won on LaDainian Tomlinson's 16-yard TD run in overtime.

Young is day-to-day after re-injuring his right quadriceps muscle, but coach Jeff Fisher said Monday he expects Young to play in this game.

The Chargers led the NFL with 30 interceptions and finished fifth in scoring defense, allowing 17.8 points per game.

San Diego has won five straight in this series, including a 40-7 win at home last season. The Chargers, though, are 0-3 in the postseason against the former Houston Oilers, including a 17-14 loss in their last playoff meeting on Dec. 29, 1979.

Well, finallt, the Playoffs are here and the Chargers are in in full speed!!!

The 11-5 record I think is accurate to what some of us had predicted in the begining, but the attitude and how the team played made us doubt, and now the Chargers have played from less to more.

This game will be a tough one, the good thing is that it's at home and that maybe Vince Young won't play.

Last game was a hard game and I think that this game will be also. We must not forget that Fisher has a lot of experience.

LT of course will be the Chargers main man follower by Gates. What coulr worry me is what Rivers will we see.

I say the Chargers win by +/- 7 pts.

yeeesssssssssssssssssss!!!! finally, after what, 12 years? the chargers win a playoff game.

the defense had a good game, keeping the titans at range at all times and keeping them from scoring a touchdown.

2nd half was something completely, it seems the chargers got their game together and made the important plays.

it sucks that gates was out, i hope he's back for next game, but chambers was there to make the catches.

i was worried that LT wasn't running like he uses to. and rivers, he needs to get smarter, but he's young and i hope he maintains his composure.

Vincent Jackson is an effin beast.

LT was held in check. Gates was gone. The OLine was dominated for a good portion of the game and Rivers came up huge. 1st playoff win since '94. Hell Yeah!!!!

Same. I think LT will have much much better game as well. Haynsworth and KVB may be the best DT-DE combo in the NFL.

It's good to see that Rivers can make the plays if needed but LT has gotta come up big if we want to beat the Colts. 6 INT's for Manning a kick and punt return for a TD by Sproles and a missed 29 yard FG aren't likely to happen again but here's hoping

Oh thank god. Would have been such a disappointment if the Chargers got upset again. Well, at this point the Chargers have gotten as far as last year, and done so playing better at the end. Won't say I'm satisfied with the coaching situation, but whatever happens next week, I'll be excited for next year.

Regarding next week specifically, Colts have to be the big favorites, but if I were them I wouldn't be too cocky.
