Big Walter Jones calls it quits

After 13 seasons in the NFL and a definate HOFer Walter Jones retired from the NFL....thoughts on this.

One of the greatest offensive lineman of all-time. They said on ESPN today that he only had 9 holding penalties in his career that is truly amazing. He had the same number of pro bowls that he had holding penalties, 9. HOF for sure.

Only 9 holding penalties??? Wow. One of the best OL of all time, first ballet HOF'er for sure.

He also only allowed 23 sacks. 4 of those were in one game, his first back from Microfracture surgery against Demarcus Ware on Thanksgiving. He is in the debate for best OL of all time, but I don't think anyone can leave him out of there top 5.

I would agree Walter is deff amoungst the top 5 OL to play the game

He is definitely one of the best OT to ever play the game.
He should have gotten MVP in 05 not Alexander. He was the reason they were contenders for so long.

Definitely made it hard for the 49ers to reach Hasselbeck. Definite HOF.
