Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Heroes.. please treiz, never reference Heroes when discussing LOST. Heroes at it's best isn't up to par with the worst LOST episodes..
As for the LOST... it's a science fiction show where you have to suspend belief on more than one occasion, but the characters, settings, plot twists and the overall storylines makes it one of the best shows EVER..

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
^Alright, didn't mean to offend. I'm not comparing Lost to Heroes, I'm just saying that when I tried to watch them both, they both pretty much ended the same way, good start then just really annoying.
Your description of Lost just didn't occur to me when I tried to watch it. Maybe it's just me since I can't seem to suspend belief
EDIT: While you're on the topic of best shows ever, just look at my avatar!

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Arrested Development was the best show I've seen on television in my entire life. It is genius. Shows like the Office and Parks and Rec have similar, but dumbed down humor. I've never seen a more clever and better acted comedy on tv in my life.
The problem is, people really have to watch Arrested Development from the beginning. Even in its last season, they still reference random little things from season 1. It's hard to pop in and keep track, but it's flat out genius.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Not sure why people consider sitcoms to be best shows, comedy is comedy. People dont watch sitcoms episode to episode trying to follow the story like they do with non comedy shows. Its just for laughs, not fair to put it in the same category.

Exactly, Arrested Development was just pure genius from the 1st episode to the last. Highly recommend it jeff

I have recently got hooked on Arrested Development. It's pretty funny.
May I suggest "Freaks and Geeks" for you gentlemen. It's fantastic.

First of all, Lost is a terrific show. Could it be better? Yes, probably, but i'm to emotionally involved with the great characters they have on it, so I need to know what happens to them and i need to know what the hell is going on and what the island is exactly.
As for Arrested development, it's the greatest sitcom ever made that was cancelled after two seasons. Just my opinion. Damn great show. Glad to hear they're making a movie with the original cast.
Lastly, Heroes just plain sucks, and always will...
Thank you...

I only really knew Netsforce on the Nets fourm...Though, I was familiar with a negative persona NF was tagged with by others around Realgm...I will admit to NF's stubborness combined with a bunch of warnings and temporary bans equaling the end of Nets fan who was a friend to a lot of us here...but I will not completely fault Netsforce so called behavior as the only factor to his ban.
I have had emails reaching out to him, discussing various scenarios...but I guess in the end that truly didnt matter...I have no particular comment on the actual ban beyond the above, except for the fact of it truly being a HUGE loss to the Nets forum...
As far as his contribution on Nets board over the years, he definitely grew to be a great contributor and was obviously an intelligent person, beyond NBA knowledge... I guess a possible, "Jekyll and Hyde" personality on the Net boards and other Realgm's forums fueled his inevitable demise...
Sorry to see you go mang...All the best to you and everything you do...you will be missed...
Sincerely,
jj

Re: Random Thoughts Thread (Netsforce Waived)
The guy was a different poster outside of the Nets Board. jj and I knew about his Jekyll and Hyde (thanks jj) personality among the Forum. We could only stick our necks out for him and play politics for so long, but what he posted (according to some other mods, which I'll look into), can't be tolerated, even if provoked.
I truly am sad to see you go as we lost a knowledgeable and loyal poster who knew how to lift the spirits of the board (especially during this season), but there's a point where it just goes too far. Peace, man.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread (Netsforce Waived)
What did he get banned for? I'm taking a shot in the dark here, but was it something directed towards Rasho or Delaney on the OTB? He was a different poster on the Off Topic, but he was basically the same on the Trades and Transactions and Draft Boards, some of the only boards he was still allowed on I imagine, lol. This really sucks though.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread (Netsforce Waived)
I knew him posting in the general off-topic board would get him waived.
I'm gonna miss Netsforce, dude was funny and he knew his basketball. I just wish he would have posted on the General basketball board, Knicks board, Player comparison board and General Off Topic board as he does here. Dude would have been an elite member on realgm..
