That win tonight was awesome. I want them to close out so bad right now.

And this happened tonight.

Me to my kids wrote:I am sitting at the edge of my seat. My kids are going crazy making noise. NOt because the Suns are winning. They are just being kids. Now I like to hear the announcers. So I kept sshing my kids. Well I said to be quiet or else. My wife goes and says. "Kids be quiet Papa's game is more important than you right ...now." Then when the Suns won. She says "Ok kids Papa's game is over you are important again."

Pfff I would never do that to my kids.

Because they aren't born yet. I surely will later.

While Mr. Sun is being optimistic. One can hope for a miracle. The Suns battled in that last game and Dudley get's the game ball easily. If Barbs comes out of a slump and Dragic even though he isn't really that bad comes out we are tough tough tough. I would like to see a small line up of Nash, Dragic, Rich, Frye, and Amare.

I know that is small but 4 can shoot the 3 and I don't know if they have all been on the court at the same time this season. I would also like to see a couple of other lineups.

One thing I do know Spurs can easily tie this series up. Not something I want but not out of the realm of possibilities.

I want the Suns to come out on fire and read to roll. The Spurs are going to battle for every lose ball, every offensive rebound, and play some tough defense.

Also I felt at the beginning that the "X" factor was our strong bench play.

Spurs Bench
FGA-FGM 10-22
24 pts
8 REB
9 AST
5 TO
5 STL
3 BLK
66 min played 27.5 percent of the game

Suns Bench
FGA-FGM 11-28
31pts
20 REB
9 AST
3 TO
4 STL
0 BLK
90 min played 37.5 percent of the game.

Now the numbers aren't glaring except for rebounds. 9 OFF rebounds (for the bench) to the Spurs (1). To me if our second unit has that much hustle and heart ( i.e. Dudley) then we WILL be tough to beat no matter who plays us.

I would just like to post a few stats that I felt was key to the victory over the Spurs. I call them my "X" factor.

BENCH PLAY

PHX
TOTALS: 100PTS 7TO 5BLK 10STL 16AST 50REB 18-34 = 52.94 3PT% 36-76 = 47.3 FG% 274 Minutes Played
AVERAGES: 33.33PPG 2.33TPG 1.66BPG 3.33APG 16.66RPG 91.3 MPG

SAS
TOTALS: 87PTS 10TO 5BLK 6STL 16AST 25REB 7-18 = 38.88 3PT% 34-68 = 50 FG% 215 Minutes Played
AVERAGES: 29PPG 3.33TPG 1.66BPG 2SPG 5.33APG 8.33RPG 71.66MPG

Some of the totals are a little goofy but our bench has been money.

GAME 1 Player of the Game: Nash
GAME 2 Player of the Game: Dudley (great hustle and heart)
GAME 3 Player of the Game: Dragic ( awesome performance and I don't see the kid looking back)

We need to wrap this up and not get complacent.
