I think Haywood is overrated defensively and got exposed in the playoffs this season as a guy who looks better on mediocre teams. He's definitely not in the "elite" group and it would be a huge mistake to give him a 4 year contract. He's already 30 and for the first half of his career he wasn't even a full-time starter because of Etan Thomas.

I could seriously see doing a Phoenix-style move if Dallas screws around with Dirk the way they did with Nash, I would absolutely throw 4 years at max per at Dirk and watch him and Tyreke tear it up. I think that kind of a move in addition to the high draft pick could result in us immediately moving into the top four in the West.
