Dzeko top scorer

Post#1 » by Smoove » Sun May 9, 2010 12:24 am

Look at this epic goal to take the scoring title. Dzeko's first touch is beastly and shows it there why he is good enough to play in any league, Dzeko is just to much for the Bundesliga.

 Man you won't stop with this, everyone on the board agrees that Dzeko is a really good/great player, but he's not worth £40 million. And until he faces better competition, then that's just the way I'm going to think of him. I hope he does move, so that this debate can be settled.

I never said Dzeko is worth £40 Million  What are you smoking? But Wolfsburg did say he is worth 40 Million Euros though, not me  So you need to quit bring that crap up saying I said that when I never said that.

Anyways he is some Epic goals by Dzeko this season.

Dzeko vs. Villareal

Dzeko vs. Manchester United | Part 1

Dzeko vs. Manchester United | Part 2

Dzeko vs. Dortmund

There was a lot more epic goals, but I like these. I could not find the goal vs. Werder Bremen, man that was an ridiciouls goal to 4-5 defenders tired to take the ball away from him and couldn't and he scores it looked like Ibrahimovic goal when he played for Ajax.

^If you never said Dzeko was worth £40 million then why are you arguing with guys? We all agree this guy is a big time talent, but the two major worries are translation to the Premier League (which applies for nearly everyone) and the high price tag. Other than that, everyone has seemed to agree that he's an awesome talent and a solid fit for Manchester United in particular. You don't have to sell us on Dzeko being a great footballer, I think even his doubters agree he's very talented. I really appreciate your opinion on him considering you watch him more than most of us (or at least myself in particular), I just don't think you need to get so defensive when the majority of us agree in terms of his ability.

Thanks for the highlights by the way, some of those were very nice.

Arguing? I do not want to argue with anyone on here, people are coming at me

But just imagine, Rooney and Dzeko that would be insane. I remember when SAF said it would be really nice to have Dzeko at Manchester so Valencia and Giggs can feed those crosses to him, something like that and that would make us so much deadly next season, am I'm sure adding a threat like Dzeko to our team would make us an automatic bid for the Champions League finals.

And I agree, it would maybe take Dzeko couple matches to get used to EPL, but I'm sure 10 matches or less he would be a natural. I mean in the last two season for VfL Wolfsburg here are Dzeko's stats total: 66 games, 48 goals, 20 assists. Now think about it for a 6'5" striker like Dzeko to give 20 assist means Rooney and others would love that.

I'd love Dzeko at SB, but it looks like we are much more serious about Torres (I don't see it happening though)

That was really poor defending by Jung yesterday.

The Villareal goal was brilliant BUT it was ignorant that he didn't pass the ball to Grafite there. Rooney would have killed Dzeko if he didn't score that goal and Rooney was as free infront of the goal as Grafite was.

Do you really need another big forward signing?

I think it's just that a lot of our core players are getting old, especially Anelka and Drogba.

Chelsea will sign Aguero and I'm sure they are finished with strikers for this year. And Liverpool cannot sign Dzeko cause they cannot offer the money for him and Arsene is a cheap **** so he won't go anywhere near 30 Million.

I am really curious to see whether somebody will shell out 40m Euros for Dzeko. He is a big striker (6 ft 4) who takes up space, is technically refined with both feet, quick as hell and cold blooded. Ibrahimovic 2.0?

Well, 40 million is a lot of money. Who could be the candidates?

England:
Chelsea - Maybe, if they lose out on Agüero.
Man Utd - Another possibility
Arsenal - No chance
Liverpool - Are you kidding me?
Man City - They have lots of strikers, if they can send some away, they could be a serious candidate as well. Maybe the only team that wouldn't be frightened by the price tag.

Spain:
Barcelona - Only possible candidate. But they just bought Ibrahimovic, and their forward rotation looks good. Villa would be a better choice for less money(I'm not exactly sure how much he'll cost though).
Real Madrid - Spent a lot of cash last year, have a good forward rotation, and just bought Benzema for 25 million(IIRC). Maybe in the old days it was a possibility, but I'm thinking they might add strength to their weaknesses this time.

Italy:
Nah, the price is too much for any team here.
