Damn things are pretty bad when a Suns fan makes the game thread for the Spurs

Cheap Spurs need to take out Nash to go on a run. How classy Spurs fans.

You are a moron. Nash should have got his face out of the way of Duncan's elbow.

Feels like the big plays are always coming from the Suns. I don't have a good feeling for this game.

Dear Suns,

You have ended my beloved Spurs season and may have put the last nail in our dynasty. For this I hate you.

Now go win the championship.

Sincerely,

Really dumb statement. It was an accident. Nothing about that looked or seemed intentional. Just bad luck.

Statements like that make people hate Suns fans.

 I'll take it.
You guys are classy. I can't say the same thing about some of the Suns fans on the RealGM board.

Hey guys, I thought I'd relay some small comforts for you (even if I am a Suns fan with a gently anti-SA avatar):

- How are the Mavericks doing?

- The Suns basically won this series by turning into the Spurs (talented PF with wings that could shoot the 3, high-intensity bench, and a little luck). I'd have rather it took less than 6 years.

- You get to get rid of Jefferson now!

:-)

Wow, pure class. Just like the team you've rooted for. Tonight for me was unreal but still, it's 1 win in 5 tries. I love my current Suns but I loved my previous Suns who could never get past the Spurs. Your franchise is amazing, good luck moving forward.

+1, not sure if i'd have been as classy had the roles been reversed and it was us getting swept.

Congrats to the Suns also.

As for the Suns, I personally never been much of a fan of Steve Nash, but I can honestly say that he (and Dirk before him) really made me a fan because of this series. I don't think they get past the Lakers, but I sure hope they do and win the championship. It'll feel much better knowing we lose to the champions. Atleast it'd make us feel like we're not that far off. Imagine if Phoenix lose to LA, and then LA lose to whoever comes out of East. It'll definitely make me feel like maybe we should just blow the whole team up since we're so far away from being a contender.

This really isn't the ideal way to end the season, but for what it's worth, we definitely overachieved. I'm sure most of us expected to bow out in the first round considering how the regular season was going. Beating Dallas heighten my expectation but going to the 2nd round is a feat nonetheless considering how this team is no where near our previous Spurs teams. Not much can really be expected.
