Jason Kidd in 2007 - 15/11/11
Oscar Robertson in 1962 - 29/11/11

That is all. Rondo came close last year when he had 17/9.8/9.7.

You have to round those 9.7s off. That is a triple double.

No, I don't have to. Double means 10+ and 9.7 or 9.8 or 9.9 are still less than 10. But if you think otherwise I would like to trade money with you. I give you $9.5 all the time and you give me $10 back. ;)

We are not talking about money here. Those statistics need to be rounded off. That is a triple double.

Lol, no. For a triple double 10 is a minimum requirement, 9.9 is smaller than 10. Thus 9.9/9.9/9.9 doesn't meet the requirements for a triple double. It is really simple. Kidd and Robertson had a triple double, Rondo didn't!

It's not splitting hairs. .398 isn't batting .400 and 9.5 rebounds isn't 10+ rebounds.

It is when you round them off.

Lol, and when you round 6 off to double digits, it also is 10. You missed the freaking point here. It is called triple double, because the player has 3 different stats with double digits without rounding them off.

Oscar averaged 30-10-10 over his first 6 seasons.

lol @ round off.

No one rounds off basketball statistics unless you are blatantly trying to pull a stat in your favor.
