Crazy. I thought with his back that he was done coaching. He was a good coach though. Great for a young team if you ask me.

He'll be coaching soon if he's sincere about wanting back in ... and it certainly appears he does.

McHale has a nice open system. I could see him trying to trade for some of our players. He will probably try to get Al or Love.

I liked McHale as a coach.

Who wouldn't want to coach that team? If they pick up one of the big free agents, they'll be close to making a huge jump.

The positive for us is that maybe he'd push to trade Noah for Love or something silly like that.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Great coach, will get the most out of every player, could put Noah into a fringe all-star if he can teach him some of the slippery eel stuff I think. I really wish he had stayed out coach, but i guess ruining our franchise for 15 years might have been his downfall

It's hard for me to remember specific plays, but he let's his players play through mistakes and is great at building confidence. The Wolves saw a turn around after he took over. The energy changed and the team was more focused.

A lot of players were upset after Kahn let him go.

He always struck me as a good player's coach but not a particularly strong Xs and Os guy. I think of him as more of a motivator and less of a strategist.

I wonder if Glen Taylor would rip on McHale like he did with KG. Didn't he also blame Flip Saunders for giving up on Billups?

Can't blame him for picking the Bulls, the team is a legit PF away from being a threat and McHale just so happens to be pretty good at coaching just that. With CHI looking at a max FA this looks like a match made in heaven.

On a side note, I promise to cut my left pinkie off if McHales Bulls face off against Lebron/Gallo/Bosh's Knicks next years in the ECF.

I would love watching him coach the Bulls! His postgame interviews are as close as the Bulls could get to Ozzie Guillen's, unless they hire Charles Barkley instead.
