The Dirk stuff seems kinda ridiculous but, yeah, I believe Lebron will end up staying too. I think he'll also force Gilbert and Ferry to sign Calipari as coach. It appears WWW, LeBron, Leon Rose, and Cal come as a package deal and I don't see the front offices of the Knicks or Bulls giving up so much control. As much as I want Mike Brown gone I'm not sure I can root for Calipari. :(

Hopefully LeBron actually decides to show up for game 6. The season is not over yet.

If they lose tonight the best case scenario might be Coach Cal and LeBron leading the Cavs next season. Worst case...I really don't want to think about.

Calipari is not a good coach and if LeBron forces him on us then I would be very upset with him.

I am huge Laker & Kobe fan. It would be a big mistake for LeBron to leave Cleveland. He has a town and fans that love him and an organization that will do what it can to put the right pieces around him.

I don't believe he is leaving.

I am sorry if you don't like but I think your coach is (Please Use More Appropriate Word). His COY award should be given to LeBron. He doesn't appear to have the IQ to be a good coach.

Of course he's staying, how the hell will he sell a 20 some million dollar house in this market, just around the corner from the Comfort Inn?

why wouldnt Bron leave is the question.

the Cavs have tried hard but still haven't gave him a solid robin to his batman. and Mo Williams is one of the worst players I've ever seen when it comes to needing someone to show up in a big game.

and I dont think the extra money Cleveland can give him is an issue. he can make that up easily.

Why the hell will he sell a house in his home city? I don't doubt if LeBron has 50 houses in Akron, it's just a great buying time, he's not stupid enough to sell. (of course not in his name fools)

He's staying, but that's definitely stupidest thing I ever heard.

He wouldn't leave mainly because he's from Ohio and no matter how anybody spins it, he will take Art Modell's place as the most hated person ever, in Ohio.

I'm sure dude wants to be able to return home, sometime.

Dear Cavs FANS
Look boston fan here, sad truth folks lebron is one of the greatest players on earth ever period!! and I HOPE THE HELL HE STAYS WITH YOU...also the truth is you do not have a bad team its damn deep and talented and the series isn't over... I HONESTLY HATE WHATS GOING ON IN THE MEDIA BAND WAGON...Ohio is a underrated state that's been hit hard and him staying is huge. I'm not saying I'm rooting for you this year because we are f'd after next year for championship contenders i'm a realist, but this year I think we have a chance to win...that being said I KNOW LEBRON WILL WIN A RING MAYBE TWO OR THREE AND I HOPE IT'S IN OHIO YOU TOTALLY DESERVE IT......but not this year good luck honestly if we don't win beat the damn fakers and I also feel you have to have the proper head coach and you don't no offense...not that ours has sub rotation down but he's damn good at schemes.

From
a respectful NBA boston fan from INDIANA who lives in washington( Seattle got robbed I FEEL FOR THEM TOO)

Hey I'm a New Yorker and you guys know where we stand...but with that said....he should stay. Your front office has given him the perfect set of role players and vets to thrive, year in and year out. They've catered to his every whim on and off the court. As a man, I'd really respect him if he stayed and delivered on his promise of bringing a championship to your city.

IF, big IF, LeBron leaves, is it bitter?

Post#14 » by Subway Token » Fri May 14, 2010 4:32 am

As a Cavs fan, will it be a bitter departure if LeBron decides to leave? Why/why not?

The thing I would look most forward to seeing IF LeBron leaves is how much Mo Williams will be exposed for the fraud he is.

He rode LeBrons Jersey all the way to the all-star game and will be nothing more than Smush Parker without him.

Let me start by saying, I'm not a LeBron fan at all. His ego disgusts me and I feel he cares more about himself than the team. That being said, from reading halls board it sounds like he is getting a lot of heat from y'all. It seems like a lot of you are saying he quit on the team and so on. My question is, do y'all not believe this injury had anything to do with it? I'm not trying to defend him, but maybe he was playing in some serious pain. I could only check a few threads from my iPhone but I didn't see that brought up and was wondering if y'all think this had a legit factor in the way he played or not.

Also, for what it's worth, I'm near positive LeBron will stay with the Cavs.

I say he stays and would be surprised otherwise. If you were to ask him how he felt about the team, the season, and his chances a week ago, he wouldn't have traded them for the world. Therefore the situation is alright,,,the team ran into a buzzsaw. Lost in the whole Lebron thing is how f'ing good the C's played. Someone was always there to pick it up, and as usual all of Lebron's teammate crapped out....yet this was the team that was easily the best during the season. Williams and West suck, plain and simple. They are not elite but merely serviceable against MOST teams. Shaq/Jamison sucked.

I think if you asked LJ if he preferred fulfilling his goals in Cleveland or elsewhere(NYC) it would be a resounding Cleveland. The second question is "does LJ think he's gone as far as he can go in Cleveland" and to that I say no. It's not like KG where he played on a loser team and a loser organization.....the Cavs win and are always contending.

If the organization is trying it's best, then I think LJ will be placated,,,,but they need to add two players and one of them has to be a guard.
