A Celtics Question

Post#1 » by evildallas » Fri May 14, 2010 6:16 am

After watching the Celtics dispatch the Cavaliers and how well Rondo played, it got me to thinking "How did the Hawks sweep them?" and "Who kept Rondo in check when we played?"

Both are serious questions. I mean I know our athleticism was a big advantage against their aging team, but shouldn't the Cavs been athletic in key spots as well? Was it just a matter of the Celtics not trying hard because it was regular season? What happened, cause I don't remember?

That is very simple....The celtics are not seriously or played so so during conference and they started show their true color when the playoffs begin. See the Sports journalist or columnist they are all favor for Cleveland for the second round.

The funny thing is that the Hawks beat the Celtics when Boston was actually playing well prior to the all-star break.

Boston's play in the playoffs has shocked me. Usually teams who 'turn it on" come playoff time start the regular season slow and then find their rhythm in March and April. The Celtics got much worse as the year went on but it looks like that didn't matter.

our bigs play very well against the Celtics' bigs. surprisingly for the last three years, Josh matches up very well against KG, even if KG is healthy. Horford also does very well against Perkins. Rondo looked great, he looks like he flys down the court, but again, Josh gets alot of blocks from behind on Rondo on those fast breaks Rondo runs.

their are a few factors, but the biggest is Josh's ability to play KG.
