Here's a kid from my hood who I thought would put us on the map...
If they don't care, i don't care, I'll be like him and dedicate my time making money next time it's time to spend 1000$ on some seats.
C'mon, you gotta stick with your team. Most sports fans root for different teams in different sports and always have one or two that wins and one or two that causes you heartache. I've got them and except for bandwagon jumpers or fans that maybe only follow one sport everybody else does as well.
I'm sure you remember watching Mark Price back in the 80's and 90's, he was probably my favorite PG besides Magic and Stockton at the time. He gave every basketball fan a reason to watch them and certainly a reason for Cav fans to get excited. There were some solid Cav teams in the 90's that made the playoffs before hitting a bump..well a roadblock really but it lead to the coveted draft selection of Lebron. Do you realize how much of a shift took place with regards to basketball interest in Cleveland during a 4-5 year span?
You never know what can happen with any team in sports.Take the Indians who were such a joke a (fantastic) movie was made about their ineptness. Within 5 years after that movie the horrible 60's and 70's and 80's and early 90's were forgotten with an All-time offense featuring guys like Jim Thome and Manny Ramirez batting 7th and 8th LOL!! I'd hate being a bandwagonner and never will be but it's almost as bad as jumping ship and regretting it later like some fans actually have only to see the team become a big team/championship contender. True story, my uncle grew so tired of his pathetic New England Patriots he jumped ship for the Dan Marino Dolphins in the 1980's and swore he'd never go back. Biggest loser I ever met is what I say behind his back. Now I know you're not talking about switching alligiances but still, stick with your team bro. I have and and I've put up with tons of sht for years. Makes me a bigger fan in fact. Peace.
