C'mon, you gotta stick with your team. Most sports fans root for different teams in different sports and always have one or two that wins and one or two that causes you heartache. I've got them and except for bandwagon jumpers or fans that maybe only follow one sport everybody else does as well.

I'm sure you remember watching Mark Price back in the 80's and 90's, he was probably my favorite PG besides Magic and Stockton at the time. He gave every basketball fan a reason to watch them and certainly a reason for Cav fans to get excited. There were some solid Cav teams in the 90's that made the playoffs before hitting a bump..well a roadblock really but it lead to the coveted draft selection of Lebron. Do you realize how much of a shift took place with regards to basketball interest in Cleveland during a 4-5 year span?

You never know what can happen with any team in sports.Take the Indians who were such a joke a (fantastic) movie was made about their ineptness. Within 5 years after that movie the horrible 60's and 70's and 80's and early 90's were forgotten with an All-time offense featuring guys like Jim Thome and Manny Ramirez batting 7th and 8th LOL!! I'd hate being a bandwagonner and never will be but it's almost as bad as jumping ship and regretting it later like some fans actually have only to see the team become a big team/championship contender. True story, my uncle grew so tired of his pathetic New England Patriots he jumped ship for the Dan Marino Dolphins in the 1980's and swore he'd never go back. Biggest loser I ever met is what I say behind his back. Now I know you're not talking about switching alligiances but still, stick with your team bro. I have and and I've put up with tons of sht for years. Makes me a bigger fan in fact. Peace.

LeBron doesn't care what Cavs fans think. It's all about the money to him. Business. Not basketball.

It is what it is. I'm still going to support the team. I hope Gilbert stays on as an owner because he's done everything a fan could ask. I hope he blows up the team for bad contracts packaged with draft picks to inject a ton of good youth into this team then we set our sights on a title again.

Without Lebron, the cavs are worse than the Nets..keep that in mind...Lebron took them to the finals, thats already an awsome accomplishment..,Right now he had an elbow injury and it clearly affected him.. Also what do expect him do drop 50 a night and the cavs win??? Its a team effort and Boston was just better and had more experience to take them out.

Hey **** you buddy, I stayed a fan when Zo went down with his kidney illness.

That might be commendable but I have been a Nets fan for over 20 years. Try that. I've been through more than you can imagine. I was a fan before Kenny Anderson, before Kendall Gill, before Armon Gilliam, before Keith Van Horn, before Jason Kidd, and a fan before Lebron.

Cleveland whatever happens you were very fortunate to have Lebron for 7 years. He got to play close to where he was from for almost a decade. That is much more than most people can say.

Respectfully,

J Kiddy - A true fan of the game

SO HARD to be a nets fan? Please. Try being a die-hard Raps fan since their inception in 95. You guys at least made the finals in back to back years. We've won 1 playoff series. 1!!!!! Try seeing one of the most talented players in the history of basketball play like an absolute bum for 2 years, settling for outside jump shot after jump shot, not caring, then after he leaves and the team finally gets good again, your GM spends absurd amounts of money on ridiculously overrated pieces of **** like Hedo Turkoglu. Try that.

According to the pre-Lebron attendance statistics in Cleveland, basketball WAS non-existant before Lebron James. And if he does go somewhere else this summer, I believe Cleveland fans will stop following the Cavs.

You're not the only one. I wonder how many people would still watch Cavs games at Gund arena if Lebron leaves.
