What has he been consistently saying in the last 3 months?

That he's 50/50?

Mr. Sun wrote:"This has been a $100 million summer for me, so I’m very proud of that," Stoudemire said.

Uh Frank? He said that in 2005.

Yes.... I see that now from Bickleys article... I read it too fast... oops... my bad... but keep using it as your main trump card, its all you have other than blind arrogance.

There are still his other comments, and his general attitude about this summer's free agency... oh and the 'I'll play here' summer tour (last off season)... and the on going attempts to trade him.... and oh yeah, that little snub when he and his agent asked to be re-signed at a very reasonable rate.... hmmmmm.... oh... and the 'I'm getting more expensive by the game'......

but then again you are the expert fn know it all.

He says 50 50.... but you do not believe him.... you call him a BSer basing it upon your own uncanny crystalballishness to know what he is thinking BEFORE he thinks it. You know, or are 99.9% certain that Sarver will match any offer and catapult this team into the lux tax land he so adamantly avoids. Apparently you, the clairvoyant laureate :meditate: of this site has tapped into both sides of the negotiation table.

We are so grateful to have you.

I guess it will be you I believe.... you and your homeristic assumptions because, well, because YOU said so and what YOU say is what we want. It is so easy now... my concerns have evaporated.

Why even ask Stat at this point ? :dontknow:

It is very likely that all the teams that have parlayed themselves to sign a max FAs will just pass on talking with Stat.... because they read this forum. In fact, lets just send your valuable nostradamic opinions to all the GMs in the league just to let them know it will be a wasted effort to even contact Stat's agent....

Stat can just release his agent and hire you.

Your 99.9% smugness makes you a 100% fool. :naaa:

I'll stick with the coin flip... its Stat's quarter... and he's maintaining a heads or tails outcome. Heads we win, tails he loses. This is a good spot for him.... but he will get other opportunities. Our saving grace is not Sarver, not Kerr... by Stats own admission it is Gentry....

but then again, you already knew that.... months ago I am sure. :kissmybutt:

Like he said before, he "isn't sure what the Suns want to do" and that is why he said it is 50-50 because the Suns haven't yet committed to 4 years in writing.

You don't make your own counter offer and say later, "I think we can work something out, we definitely want to make sure it's fair on both ends" if you desire to move on from your old team.

"We want to keep [Amare]. I don't ever talk about specifics of contract negotiations, but I can tell you that we'd like to keep him. We're working on that, and we're hopeful that he's going to be here a long time." --Steve Kerr

As for the article....the non-trade of Amare might be the most important thing to happen in the NBA this year.

you can and it's so much better.

You want to believe this diplomatic lip service... go right ahead.

This comes from the same mouth that said Amare's offer was for a couple years longer than what the Suns were willing to commit to....

So yeah, sure Stevie, I am willing to believe that you are 'hopeful that he's going to be here a long time'... just not quite as long as Stat wanted. So Amare REJECTED their counter proposal.

Our front office tries to spin there way through every deal. It is comments like these that just make me wish they'd shut the F up about everything. Take for example Portland and Camby. One day Portland announces they'd like to extend Camby.... 2 days later the deal was done. If Phnx wanted Stat, he would have been inked. But this little coy game Sarver and Kerr are playing makes me believe they are OK with seeing what kind of deal may be had for a re-signed Stat.... and Amare is OK with that too. Money wise, he cannot lose. He holds all the cards.

I am 99% sure of that.

What ever happened to that knee surgery Amare was supposed to have a couple years after the first one?

Is that still coming or not? Cuz that would suck to sign him to another huge deal and lose him for a year or so.

One outcome the Cavaliers weren't considering back in February and is now far from theoretical, how about having to face Amare and the Suns in the Finals?"

What a jerk.

What's your problem with that? There was every chance the Lakers could have swept us
