So far, all they've done is beat up on their division. Which, as it was last year, is pretty craptastic.
If they're still continuing at this pace or at least lead their division, I'll give them kudos.
I dont care how "craptastic" it is. Thats the key to making the playoffs. Winning your division. Ill keep beating up on them every day if it means a playoff berth

when they went thru there stretch of playing the like of Los Angelas, Florida they were only 5-4.
The Brewers are 4-2 against LA and Florida.

My bad what I meant to write was them being 5-4 combined against LAD, Florida and Chicago. They are a good team that plays in a bad division and too call them the best team in baseball is funny.
Boston would smoke them in a series.

While I'm currently riding this Brewer's bandwagon that's continually picking up typical bandwagon fans....and I can't hate on them....because a fan is a fan when you break it down, please, can we not play the whole 'respect' card? It's been sooooo long since the BrewCrew won anything. Look at the Tigers they were still over looked way after the AllStar break. Our time will come with continued wins.

The team with the best record usually signifies the best team, so ha.

Has anyone ever thought that the reason the NL Central is so bad (as witnessed by their records) is that the Brewers have been rampaging like Godzilla?
The Brewers are no fluke. They have the best rotation in baseball (name a #5 starter better than Claudio Vargas). They may not have a Johan Santana anchoring it, but they are good-very good from 1-5.
They may not have a Carlos Lee anchoring the lineup, but they have solid major league hitters throughout the lineup (with the exception of third base). And Rickie Weeks and Bill Hall haven't gotten going yet.
Their bench is exceptional.
This team is for real.

LOL no. The NL Central just sucks.
They have the best rotation in baseball
Nope, that award goes to the Oakland A's.

Mark Hendrickson, what do I win?

Don't think anyone is doubting that, but there not the best team in baseball. Red Sox, Indians, Mets, and Tigers are all better to me, but that doesn't mean the Brewers aren't "for real" being the 2nd best team in the NL is pretty good.

homer
brewers and braves offense is equal
brewers pitching is better
brewers are better
Offense may be equal right now, but the Braves offense started off slow and have been in a slump the last few games. Comparing the batters you gotta give the advantage to the Braves.
Brewers have better starters 1-5 right now, but the Braves have the best two starters. Still, advantage Brewers.
Bullpen is close right now, but once Wickman comes off the DL it'll certainly go in our favor.
Braves also get the advantage defensively.
I have no doubt in my mind (barring several serious injuries) the Braves will finish with the better record and go deeper into the playoffs. Brewers are benefitting from an easy schedule and players playing a bit over themselves.
Of course, like I said, if they make it through this month still with a great record I'll be very impressed.
Homer.
