Seahawks@Packers predictions.

Post#1 » by rilamann » Fri Jan 11, 2008 7:53 pm

Lets hear some predictions.

The closer we get to gametime the more confident im getting about the Packers chances to not only win but win somewhat comfortably.

Last Saturday and early in the week I was a lot more nervous about the game but after some thought and research I can't realy see the Packers losing this one.Usually before a big game its the opposite with me,im confident early in the week and get more nervous as the game approaches.

I almost sound like im going to be playing.

My prediction.

Packers 27
Seahawks 17

I still think it will be a tough game for the Packers and be close at halftime but I expect the Packers to pull away at some point in the second half, not blow the Hawks out but a solid win with around a 10 pt margin of victory is what I expect.

BTW someone needs to make a game thread soon,im not making one.Last time I made a game thread was the Bears game at Lambeau and the Packers lost and im not taking any chances in the playoffs.

28-10 Pack, w/o D.J. and a banged up Branch, the hawks will have a hard time getting into the end zone. Pack is back, baby! I can't wait!

24-13 good guys. Holmgren will retire. His last game coaching will be at Lambeau.

I have to stick with my season long promise of not predicting actual scores.

However, the Packers will win if they bring their game, simple as that. Do what they do best and they should come away with a trip to the NFC championship game. It's easier said than done, but looking back at the season, when they're on, they look unstoppable, in all facets.

Maybe i'm not giving Brett and the boys enough credit but, i'm worried about this game.

I've got visions of that Dallas game dancing in my head. Bad throws down field, poor play calling, big plays given up deep...

It's absolutely imperative that the Packers establish that ground game and even if it isn't there early that they stick with it. We can't get one dimensional against this Seahawks defense. Too many bad things could happen.

I don't anticipate they'll be able to move the ball up and down the field like Dallas did, but all it takes is one or two big completions and a flag for pass interference to put the Packers on their heels.

Mr. Grant, your time is now.

24-20 Packers. Of course I hope my Seahawks win the game, but I have to give the edge to the Packers and the Lambeau home field advantage. Seattle will have to play an almost mistake free game to win this one.

Normally I would go low scoring in this one but for some reason I don't think so today...

Packers 34
Seahawks 24

Go PACK!!!!!!!!!!
