LeBron for Bynum and Artest

Post#1 » by Dr. Laker » Sat May 15, 2010 2:04 am

Bynum is about as good a player as the CAVS could hope to get in return. Artest is still a top defender.

Mo Williams
Parker
Artest
Jamison
Bynum

That is a tough team. They'd need to find a young guard, but it'd be a squad you could build around.

Do you REALLY believe LeBron will join the Lakers? Do you really believe that? Then please, send me some of that stuff you're smoking. :D No offense but LeBron is still young and will try to win a chip on his own before playing alongside Dwyane or Kobe. He might team up with Amar'e or Bosh but that's a different story. D-Wade and Kobe are in that top3 group and have both won rings already. I'm pretty sure LeBron doesn't wanna be the guy who "joined Bryant/Wade to win a chip". I just don't see it, not yet. Maybe when he's 30 and still hasn't won one he'll team up with another superstar or two to finally get his. But at this stage of the career, he wants to do it on his own and that's coming from a Heat fan.

i wouldn't mind it if it came to that point where lebron wanted to join the lakers and had no desire of returning...i'd also like to get farmar in such a deal because i want mo as far away from next year's team as possible

Like dwade said hes not going to either one of those places for the exact reason he wants to do it on his own. Coming to chicago and the bulls dumping a luol contract or a kirk contract even if they got nothing in return still means a second max free agent. If you think lebron wont come away with a championship with a roster like rose, lebron, amare or bosh, noah , and some no name shooting guard your nuts. it doesnt matter with those four even if you had a scrub in there with them it has championship for years to come written all over it. I am a chicago fan so i may just have wishfull thinking but if you look at the facts it is a possibility, and lebron knows it and all of you should as well.

His ego is way too big for him to play in LA, but I'd do Bynum for LeBron straight up. We aren't taking Artest and his awful contract.

A Bynum trade is actually the only S&T for LeBron I'd do.

Trust me you do not want Farmar. Mo Williams will look like Magic Johnson if being compared to Farmar. Well not really but you get the point.

The only reason why this is even being brought up is because Bynum got hurt. If he never got hurt the Lakers would be the overwhelming favorites at winning the championship this year.

I think that Lebron and his "team" are very concerned about exposure. LA is good exposure, but not great exposure for the key East coast market. For that reason, I think that he will be reluctant to sign with a West coast team.

Just for the record, there hasn't been "any" talk about Bron Bron coming to LA for Bynum or anybody for that matter... The Lakers didn't even pick ip Farmars contract... Ron Ron at the MLe is a "good bvalue"... You are paying Varejo $8 million and don';t think Ron Ron is worth $5 million... His numbers are down because he is the fourth option... How did KD feel about his defense... KD averaged 6.5 TO''s a game... I think Bron Bron will go top Chicago or Jersey ersoanlly... They bopth have solid pieces...

I never liked Lebron or the Cavs.
But this has got to be a joke, right?

Trading Amar'e for James would've made more sense, and it's not even like it's making any.

I think Bynum is way overrated but I still wouldn't mind him being on the team.

I don't think LA needs to do that to acquire LeBron though. They could send Odom to a team with max room that doesn't have much hope of acquiring one of hte max guys - like Minny or NJ. Might be enough for them to wiggle some cap space out.

If we did get Bynum and Artest I think you move Artest to another team immediately.

I think Bynum is overpaid considering he cannot stay healthy. It might be better to let LeBron walk and start completely from scratch if he chooses to leave. There is still alot of time until FA. My gut still says LeBron ultimately will not leave especially after the way he performed in the playoffs this year.

If Bynum was our teams best player we wouldnt win 30 games.
