Too bad LeBron wears a headband. Chicago Bulls Management - 1, Chemistry - 0.

Rose's star isn't nearly big enough to overtake LeBron's if he came here. This is laughable.

There's only two guys in the league who would still be "the man" on their teams if Lebron joined them (and even with them it's arguable, because Bron is still better than both, but I digress), and they reside in Miami and LA.

Rose will still be #1 in my heart even if Lebron wears a Bulls uniform next year.

Don't know if it has been posted. From the Knicks board:

duetta wrote:
Don't kid yourself. Number 23 is as good as gone. And it has nothing to do with LeBron James announcing months ago that he was changing his uniform number from 23 to 6.

"Chicago or Miami," says Charles Oakley, the former Knicks power forward. "Not New York. He's leaving."

Oakley has become a friend/mentor to the NBA's two-time MVP over the last few years. They have an Ohio connection - Oakley owns a home in the Cleveland suburbs - as well as a world-famous connection. Oakley is best friends with James' idol, Michael Jordan.

Second, the Cavs would not want Deng in return because Deng is overpaid. Third, Lebron and Noah do not get along and notwithstanding the guaranteed faux reconciliation that would follow a Lebron trade - it would be insincere and undermine the team. And fourth, Lebron does not want to live in MJ's shadow. The pressure wouldn't be to win a championship but to win more than 6 to eclipse MJ's legacy.

I'm sorry to take a robust dump on your cloud, but your sentiments convey a conviction supported by that which doesn't support it. Kinda like a 99% atheist.

First, the Cavs indeed won't be party to a trade sending LeBron here. That's cool. We'll just take LeBron anyway. And then still have enough to sign an Anthony Morrow or an Antoine "I may be a made up person but LeBron Freaking James isn't" Slagathor.

Second, that, too, is cool. We'll just keep Deng. Thanks.

Third, Rodman threw Pippen into the Effing bleachers as a Piston. It indeed would be insincere to undermine the team. The championship team, that is.

Fourth, true. LeBron does not want to live in MJ's shadow. But he also does not want other things as well. Like changing his name to Karl Malone Jr. Less than 6 championships as a Bull beats the diarrhea out of 0 championships as a Cav who would still be compared to Jordan. I'm sure Shaq's nightmares about Kareem's 5 championships are somewhat alleviated by the fact that they don't exist.

Fifth, your sig is grammatically incorrect.

Sixth, our parades march on through the wetness. This is because we don't play dat. Can the same be said for your cloud? Because I just gave it multiple STDs. haha joke's on you - I have the super AIDS!

Seventh, dude. You totally wrote this.

Eighth, "I'm not even a Cavs fan and this talk of Lebron to Chicago is annoying me," conveys masochism when said by a person who hops from board to board to talk of LeBron to Chicago.

Those guys really are stressing like crazy..they're "Lebron" thread is a 26 page thread (and climbing) titled: Should I really be getting worried about Chicago?. IF that doesn't sum up the NY frame of mind right now nothing does. The greatest to me is how they got the Bloomberg recruits Lebron thread..it starts out talking of his power, suddenly the Obama recruits Lebron thread pops up and it' downplayed and both threads quickly die.

Chalmers
Wade
Lebron
Beasley
O'neal

vs.

Rose
Hinrich
Lebron
Deng
Noah

Bulls are a lot younger and would grow with Lebron better. Wade will be 32 in 3 years and the Heats championship window will be closing while the Bulls could be title contenders for at least 8 years.

Miami definintely got a hell of a shot. LBJ and Wade just really isn't fair @ all lol.

I dunno though, we've got an elite PG and a top 10 center whom are both younger than LBJ. Two players who are both double-double threats themselves and are arguably the fastest @ their given positions AND are only getting better.

Wade is the man, no doubt but the injuries have to be a concern to LBJ. Beasley is probably a complete non-factor in this decision. Haslem, O'Neal, Chalmers are nothing to be excited over.

Wade, Riley, South Beach and no state in-come tax? That's hard to beat.

BUT if CB4 decides on Chicago, it's an absolute no brainer. We'd be the team of the decade. Atleast 5 of those shiny boys.

A win - win situation.

Lebron goes to CHI, obviously best case.
Lebron goes to MIA, that eliminates our biggest competitor for Amare/Bosh.

So say we get Lebron, will have an extra 5 million to spend what do guys think we should use it on? I think Asik and Korver would be nice additions. Then maybe Miller would sign for the min to try to get a championship. I'd also sign Acie Law and Chris Richard to vet min.

Went to the Knicks board and it gave me a headache but I want to comment on this whole Michael Jordan thing. Yes Michael is the greatest but he hasn't played for us in like 12 years, the whole MJ shadow is blown out of proportion.

LA had Wilt and Kareem, two of the three greatest Centers ever(Russell definitely in there) and Shaq went there. Kobe has done well even though Magic played there

Boston had Bill Russell and Larry Bird, Pierce and KG seem to do well.

The first couple of years I see it being a issue but 12 years later, no I don't see it. So do you all think we'll never get a very good player because MJ was here?

It's crazy. D-Rose is the best thing in Chicago SINCE MJ and they're not mobbing him with Jordan's shadow comments every game/season/series.

Hell, the only person that even got of a lick of that was 'Air Gordon' lol and that was very short-lived.

Great players love winning traditions. period. I seriously doubt that scares LBJ whatsoever.

miami could sign wade, lebron and have 9 mil left, not factoring in not trading away beasley, cook or jones

just saying :-)

Yeah. It's attractive

But we could sign LBJ, and s&t for another top tier FA. AND have D-Rose, Noah and the bright lights and big city.

He really can't lose either way.
