The thing that messes this trade up is that Okafor's contract is pretty bad...although you could argue that Collison's production offsets that.

yeah but with Okafor defense and clogging the lane lets the "franchise player" roam and it fills their 2 biggest needs

First, The draft picks trades won't work because of timing. Change the pick to a 2011 pick instead.
Confusing list of trades. For the Joe Johnson deals I prefer Devin Harris. I'm not a big fan of Okafor (or his contract) and while Collison did excellent as a rookie the system he fit into is tailored for PG. I'd have to be sure that we're running the same system here. Devin Harris has very good speed and although not a protocol PG, he's got pretty good and the contract is very affordable.
I can see a scenario where the Nets offer Harris in Joe Johnson S&T, but why would New Orleans deal their only center? I mean even if they draft a C they'd be really limited in the post to deal Okafor for a wing upgrade.

Yeah, I've seen a few different scenarios where the Nets give up Harris in an S&T for JJ... I'd love it, but I think they only do it if they need the cap space to get JJ AND someone else (crosses fingers).

Harris for JJ probably only happens if they don't get #1 overall to get Wall and/or can't sign LeBron. Perhaps they'd do that deal if the sign LeBron, get Wall, but can't get Bosh or someone like that. In any event, I really would love to see Harris here.
