Lee's the only member on the Nets still under contract with legitimate threepoint range. The team would be completely devoid of any outside range.

Chalmers and Beasley are good at it and you could pick up somebody at 18 to shoot

This would happen after the draft and then NJ would be at Miami's mercy as to who they pick at 18.

You guys are joking right? We were discussing trading Yi for Beasley not to long ago, this has us giving up Harris and Lee! I dont know how this trade isn't getting bashed beyond reason.

How about the fact that raptors only do this trade if Bosh is leaving anyway. Other wise why the hell would they do it. And miami doesn't give up much for Bosh. They make out like bandits here.

I don't like the idea of trading lee at all unless we are getting a shooter in his place. I think we have a legit shot at lebron if we get wall and if that happens we will need shooters around these two players and brook. Lee is the best shooter we have.

Why is NO involved in this? If the Hawks are getting Devin Harris straight up for Joe Johnson, I'd rather the Nets get Joe than Beasley + Chalmers + pick.

Looking at this hypothetical scenario. If ATL was willing to trade Johnson for Harris, what are the odds you can convince Johnson and one of LeBron, Bosh and Amare to sign here? Since if that's the case, there's really no need for Miami and New Orleans

Atlanta and Toronto cannot trade Bosh or Joe without it them committing to it. They are UFA. We can only do SnT with them.

Yeah really Beasley is not that good, I want no part of him especially in my starting lineup. I am very high on C. Lee still, I think he would be a perfect fit next to Wall. The only way I consider moving Lee is if we land Turner not Wall.
