Imagine signing up Shaq, letting him play for the season then leaving him off the playoff roster.  that would be sweet.

Yeah you need to hop off Kobe's nuts. Is that attitude really necessary? wow, I thought the Los Angeles fanbase would be more appreciative of the players that helped them win championships. I see that I was wrong.

Yea but how many more could we have won if Shaq wasn't such a f****n drama queen?? Him and Kobe were so dominant together but Shaq ruined it like he did in Orlando with Penny. He's like T.O. everywhere he goes he starts some drama and talks s**t to someone. I LOVED Shaq when he was in LA, but he lost all respect when he started bashing on the organization, Dr. Buss, Kobe, etc. F**K him. Him and his 15 minutes of fame ex-wife do everything they can to get people to talk about them, even if that leads to breaking up one of the greatest teams/duos of all-time. Shaq is the most dominant player of all-time, and probably could've had 6-7 rings by now if he wasn't such a bitch

I agree that he had a part in that duo's destruction. But you also shouldn't ignore Kobe's part in that drama also. Shaq left Orlando because they ran him out. They started gossiping and disrespecting his family, they also refused to give him a contract he deserved. They tried paying him under 100M because it would have made Penny mad. Shaq was a bitch but so was Kobe bryant. Did you forget the legendary " I should have just paid her a million dollars like shaq" quote?

I don't want Shaq's attitude anywhere near Andrew. Andrew actually puts in work in the off-season and tries to get better as a player. I don't want Shaq anywhere near him.

True, Shaq wouldnt be the best mentor for Bynum, but actually I think Shaq in a small dose can help light a fire under Bynums ass. Drew works hard but hes still not assertive enough, he has the talent to be so much better than he is right now.

Wouldnt mind bringing Shaq in to mentor Drew on having the dominant mindset.

Woud be weird seeing this again tho.

I'd love to have Shaq as a backup for Andrew on this team. Would give us some nice playoffs insurance too.

He's obviously a few steps slower than last time, but he'd be serviceable. Would be a nice ending to his career too.

im of the position if it wont happen. he will not return, NOT because of kobe. but he burned bridges WITH DR JERRY BUSS HIMSELF. with a player, somewhat different. somewhat because magic is known to have fired a coach he was displeased with, and Dr. buss sided with magic. but when you burn the bridges with the owner, you can still get back into his graces, but you wont come back as an employee.

now with that said, bynum is freakin injury prone. an we need to address with that. with shaq? maybe not. but with bynums injury these things get brought up.

Shaq is a cancer. Keep him far away from the Laker Organization.

Let him go back where he started

You forget that unlike Kobe and Shaq. Buss has class and has already but the situation behind. Didn't he say that Shaq's jersey would be hanging in the rafters after his career was over?

Let's face it, Mbenga > Shaq at this point; especially defensively.

I hope Shaq keeps playing, personally. It won't be with the Lakers, as long as Kobe is on the team.

We'll retire #34 at some point, but it won't be for a while.

is this how low Shaq has sunk? Didnt he used to say he'd retire if he wasnt even as good as David Robinson. Now hes getting compared to Mbenga, hahahahahaha.

But I also rather have Mbenga than Shaq. They'll both end of bench cheerleaders anyway and DJs attitude is way better than Shaq's would be, also that $Million will be worth a lot more to DJ than Shaq.

Congo Cash baby!!
