If LeBron doesn't succeed the way MJ did.....he will always hear about how MJ did it and how he couldn't.

If LeBron wins a championship with the Bulls....he will hear about how MJ did it 6 times.

We all know that his name will always be mentioned with MJ. No matter how good or how bad he does. Obviously this will happen more if he played for the Bulls.

Wouldn't he get sick and tired of that sh*t?

So basically no player can come to the Bulls, ever. So how does this organization still exist?

It's a damn shame playing for the Bulls is tougher than playing for a sports city that is dying for a title, near his hometown, and where he carried the weight and scruntiny of the sports world since he was 16.

I was expecting that response....

LBJs ego and goal is to become GOAT. He is talked about in the media as possibly being GOAT.

The media woulnd't hassle other superstars the way they would hassle LBJ because no other free agent is quite the player LBJ is. He IS the unicorn.

Wade, Bosh, Boozer, Amare, etc aren't expected to do the things LBJ is expected to do. Chicago Media (or any other media) would never compare them to MJ.

I was waiting for this response. What better place for an ego-maniac like Lebron to become the GOAT and lay the MJ ghost to bed but in MJ's house?

The bar is too high. No matter what he does here....media will say...."MJ did it and you didn't....MJ MJ MJ MJ MJ" therefore you will never be goat. They will do this until his head explodes.

LBJs ego cannot except that.

I anticipated this post.

LBJ's ego is what is going to make him come to Chicago - he can't accept that there is a place or a stage with too much pressure. He'll come here to prove to everyone that even the specter of Jordan is no match for King James.

I still believe the non-stop comparisons in Chicago will really get to him.

"Below are Bodog’s odds on which team LeBron will play his first game for in 2010-11. I happen to think it’s Chicago because James respects Michael Jordan enough to not mind playing in MJ’s city – James already has said he will change his jersey number to 6 next season from 23 in honor of Jordan. Former Knick/Bull Charles Oakley, a friend of James’, says LeBron will go to either Chicago or Miami but will leave Cleveland. These odds have changed dramatically since before the Cavs’ ouster."

Chicago Bulls: 2/1
Cleveland Cavaliers: 8/11
Miami Heat: 15/2
New Jersey Nets: 8/1
New York Knicks: 5/2

No one will remember him among the greatest of greats, even if he brings only 1 title to NYK or CLE. He needs multiple titles, especially if the Lakers win this year.

Forget MJ, he won't be up their with the legends of Bird or Magic, or with comtemporary future HOFs in Shaq, Duncan, and Kobe unless he brings home more than 1 title. D-Wade may not be the player LeBron is, but he has one title. However when thinking of history -- Wade won't be remembered along the likes of everyone else if he remains with one title. LeBron is prolly a better individual player than Hakeem, but I'll rank him higher due to invididual success and team. LeBron needs to win more than one title, no matter what city it is, to be immortalized. His ego is going to take a massive hit if he thinks one title will place him amongst history's greatest.

If LeBron is too scard to come here, maybe he's not that good. Perhaps thats the difference between him and Kobe.

If LeBron comes here....then he's definitely not the person i thought he was. I'd truly have much more respect for him. I hope i'm wrong about his ego and how he thinks.

IMO, there is no such thing as the GOAT. It's not real. You can't compare players across eras. But, even if there was a true GOAT award...

LeBron has about a 10 year window to get it done. He basically has to start winning titles within the next couple years, and keep doing it throughout the next decade. Where would be a better place for him to do that than Chicago with our dynamic, uptempo-suited, future perennial all-stars at PG and C ? That's not even including his personal friend, Taj Gibson, who was 1st team all-rookie. He can even hand pick his own coach.

Let's not forget how loyal LeBron is to his favorite childhood teams. He rocks a Yankees cap at Indians games. He was a BULLS FAN growing up. There is a picture of LeBron at a Bulls game as a kid, wearing a Bulls jersey. He has idolized MJ since being a kid. What kid wouldn't want to grow up and win a handful of rings in the house that Michael freaking Jordan built, and have a statue erected on the opposite side of the building?

Exactly. LeBron has no loyalty to the city of Cleveland. That's not to say he won't consider the affect of leaving that city. But he isn't leaving Akron. He grew up fans of other teams. He needs to win. He knows that everyone needs a sidekick. Name one of the greatest who won alone? Only guy who comes to my mind is Hakeem. Everyone had a batman.

I hate KG but I absolutely love what he said to LeBron -- "Loyalty is something that hurts you at times because you can't get youth back. I can honestly say that if I can go back and do my situation over, knowing what I know now with this organization, I'd of done it a little sooner."

LeBron is going to realize this.

I'll say this - if Bron goes to the Bulls, when they come to Philly, I'm buying courtside seats.
