Well, George is listed as the same height/weight as Brewer, only George has better handles than Brewer. So I think maybe there's something to it for now.

To be fair, Brewer isn't really a SG either. Shrug.
Let's talk more about Kevin Seraphin. I've never seen a game, just clips, and read about him. Any of our euro board members have first hand knowledge?

Offensively, what is the difference between the 2 and 3 in this system? It seems like we have 2 players that can create offense and 1 that spots up for range. (seems to be the lakers model and what the bulls did)

Both are probably more suited as 2 guards, but I think Turner and Brewer could have the majority of minutes at the 3, with Ellington and George as the 2's.
George is a straight up SF.
That what's I thought too, but I've been hearing that he's better suited as a 2 -- sort of like a T-Mac.
He's more SJax* than T-Mac. I have no idea what Chad Ford was smoking when he threw McGrady's name out there, but I'd love to know where he got it. George has more upside than Captain Jack because he's a bit more athletic and may end up having better outside touch, but like Jackson he's a swingman with a somewhat competent handle/all around game with an affinty for chucking from distance rather than a swingman with crazy handles and playmaking ability like McGrady used to be.
*Preemptive disclaimer because George has a lot of fans on this board: The Captain Jack comparison shouldn't be seen as an insult, Jackson's a solid player whose main drawback has been a propensity to wear out his welcome in three years or less rather than his play on the court. Plus, unlike McGrady, he's made it out of the first round.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

Nah, that comparison doesn't bother me.

Here's Gottlieb's top 30 big board for the draft. I swear he's just being contrary on a lot of these. I mean, he calls Aminu a "super skilled wing" and compares Monroe to Chris Bosh.

2. Derrick Favors, Georgia Tech
3. Greg Monroe, Georgetown
4. Evan Turner, Ohio State
5. Wesley Johnson, Syracuse
6. Ekpe Udoh, Baylor
7. Al-Farouq Aminu, Wake Forest
8. Luke Babbitt, Nevada
9. Gordon Hayward, Butler
10. DeMarcus Cousins, Kentucky

If Monroe had Bosh's athletic ability he would be up there.

Nothing is confirmed, but it was suspected. I just hope we really test for him and find out if it is just immaturity or something else.

Darko/Whiteside or Orton
Big Al/Favors
Brewer/George
Turner/Ellington
Rubio/Sessions
(Assuming Love and Flynn are moved to get Favors and another lotto pick)
If only we could pull this off.

Re: Operation ET: Prospect Thread II
if he can really step up his shooting as he did here today while also continuing to refine his ball-handling skills, his best long-term potential likely lies at the small forward spot.
thank you joseph

REALISTICALLY, I think our draft board at 4 is Favors/Cousins, Johnson, Aminu, Aldrich
