Yeah right. This is NY we're talking about. If Lebron were on the Knicks he'd get hammered if he didn't win one in his first two years. After he won one, it'd most definitely be expected in NY. They gave it to Arod pretty hard for his playoff performance until he won one. How do you think they'll treat him after this year if the Yanks are in the playoffs and lose with a struggling Arod again? NY, where the only thing the media loves more than a hero is a hero failing that they can pile on.

edit: either way that doesn't answer the question at hand. IF the pressure of MJ's shadow is so hard to overcome in Chicago, how will he handle the pressure of the NY media?

I'm talking about Knicks basketball where they haven't won a championship in a long long time unlike the Yankees.

The media will be more accepting by his one championship with NY than just one championship with Chi because NY hasn't seen one in a while ...where if he one just one in Chi they would be giving him a hard time becuase MJ did it six times. Personally I don't think his ego can accept that.

Do you think LeBron's own ego would accept winning one championship? The media may praise him, but he'll see the greats with numerous titles.

Maybe it's me, but people remember dynasties or underdogs winning it all -- nothing much else in between. No one cares that the Blazers won a title once years ago.

Your opinion. That's fair enough. I just believe it's pretty wild to talk about the pressure of Chicago and Jordans Shadow and not the pressure of "the Biggest spotlight". I'm also pretty sure if Lebron wins a championship in Chicago we'd be dancing in the streets praising him for saving us from the ugliness to mediocrity we've had. Of course we'd want more. NY would also want more, and once that high of the first one wore out (by the next season) they'd expect more. Either way Lebron faces pressure, if he can't handle the pressure of shadowman, he won't handle the NY pressure. If that's the case he'd be best off in Miami where Dwade would help him shoulder all that overwhelming pressure.

I heard a little about how attention seeking she is from a friend I have working in an upscale restaurant out here in LA, how she kind of demands to have people admire her for the sake of of being Lebron's mom. But I think the social circles of the old east coast are kind of tough to break into. Growing up in the west suburbs, I feel like the schmoozey but low-baller social circles out in Chicago would be the best. She'd be worshiped in whatever country club out here. Lebron seems like a mommas boy and I don't think Cleveland is the best social situation for his mom.

Maybe if she would stop ****ing Delonte West...

Lol you picked a good team to prove your point. I had to go look it up because I had no clue when the Blazers won a title.

Am I going to be quoted a lot if LBJ were to come to the Bulls. Because I'm obviously the one single person on this forum that feels this way lol.

I also would still be surprised if he actually did end up being a bull. And I don't think it's just me being pessimistic, but you can go ahead and call me pessimistic.

In this case it's not at all about sack though... any team would sign Lebron if he wants them to.

We're at his whim at this point... hopefully our sales pitch is good but it's really up to him.

Apparently Derrick and Lebron had a "long conversation over the phone about him coming to the bulls"

how do you think it went?

Derrick: Umm...yeah...you should...umm...come play for the bulls...
Lebron (while Kid n' Play plays in the background): What? I can't hear you over my ego.
Derrick: I said, YOU should come PLAY for the BULLS
Lebron: Hold on, my ego is teaching some jazzin' new 80's dance moves
Derrick: for..the....BULLS
Lebron: Ego, did you hear about that leprechaun sleepin with my momz?
Ego (Terry Crews' Abs): Yeah, don't worry, he's only sleeping with her because he couldn't get a piece of the scrumpious Lebron pie...
Lebron: Ego, are you hitting on me?
Ego: You know I am, why don't we head back to my place and watch you do crunches while ESPN helps massage me.
Lebron: Oh ego, you know the quickest way to my heart.
Ego: And after we stare at ourselves in the mirror for another 3 hours and tell the press that if you really wanted to, you could win MIP, COY, AL MVP, the Hart Trophy, and take every spot on the All-NBA first team, we'll grab some lebronsicles.
Lebron: Are those what I think they are?!?!?
Ego: ...only if you want them to be what you think they are...
Derrick: ummm...Hello?

Either way, do you think Delonte West will live or is he the most hated person in history of Cleveland?

To whom it may concern ..

Quietly, Wade had a better series against the C's than Bron

LeBron vs Celtics
Playoffs Team G GS MPG FG% 3p% FT% OFF DEF RPG APG SPG BPG TO PF PPG

Conf. Semifinals 6 6 42.5 0.447 0.269 0.743 1.5 7.8 9.3 7.2 2.2 1.3 4.5 2.0 26.8

Wade vs Celtics
Playoffs Team G GS MPG FG% 3p% FT% OFF DEF RPG APG SPG BPG TO PF PPG
First Round MIA 5 5 42.0 0.564 0.405 0.675 1.2 4.4 5.6 6.8 1.6 1.6 5.2 3.2 33.2
Just a must-watch army of possessed ass-kickers laying the smack down night after night after night. People are gonna hate playing the Bulls this year.

This might be a stupid questions, doesn't Lebron have a player option with the Cavs for next year? Is it too late for him to excercise that?
