Harden/Odom are being shopped, looking to build around Westbrook/Gordon/Griffen. Griffen could be had for the right offer. Looking for a C.

If its starting with 2010/2011 salaries, shouldnt free agency be starting now and take place BEFORE any trade-only period?

Otherwise it makes no sense....

So, yeah, I'm kind of confused. Are we using 2009/10 salaries or 2010/11?

So how are we dealing with players who have options? For example, if a player has a team option for 2010-11, I'm guessing I can trade him now, right? But if it's a player option, I can't?

guys when I say I will trade anyone on the Lakers, I expect to get similar players in return. PLEASE stop waisting my tim e offering your package of junk that you don't want for legit STUDs like Kobe and Gasol. Gasol is a championship AS BIG and I need similar talent in return. I will not trade him for your overpaid player that has never made an AS team and a group of 2nd round picks or undrafted 2nd year players and a late 1st. If you want a franchis type player offer at least talent not trash. Sorry to rant, just getting annoyed with the offers

Hey guys, I've posted in the Roster and Signups topic; also emailed everyone I can find email addresses for.

Not sure where MJallday is; but in the interests of keeping the game moving (especially as trading has started); I thought a few things should be clarified. These are just my suggestions by the way, so feel free to disagree!

Rules & Suggestions

Player Options

For trading purposes, I suggest we assume all players have picked up their 2011 player options, unless otherwise stated. Everyone ok with this? I'll try to build a list of players opting out below...

Players who are not taking up their 2011 options, as reported in national and local media, are:

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Amar'e Stoudemire, Chris Bosh, John Salmons, Channing Frye, Joel Anthony. (please feel free to add to this list)

Trading

Trading has begun; I suggest we continue to trade until MJallday confirms draft time. Although timescales do not coincide with real NBA trading, I suggest we assume all trades we are working on are 'pre-arranged' trades for first days trading... does that sound ok?

Communication

Please communicate via email or AIM; or via the discussions topic on the forum. PLEASE reply to all trade offers; if the answer is no, a simple ‘no thanks’ in reply is fine, rather than leave people waiting.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

And if possible please sign up for an AIM account alot easier to communicate because at least half of the teams have one...and most are active.

The #18 pick in the draft, Daequan Cook, and James Jones are all on the trading block.

Mario Chalmers and Michael Beasley could also be had for the right offer.
