would you guys do this trade

Post#1 » by Sharcm1 » Sun May 16, 2010 1:51 pm

If the nets get the number one pick and take wall then Harris will need to be traded.

How about Harris and Yi for battier and ariza.

Obviously the nets would only do this trade if we get wall and that translates into Lebron. But its a good trade for both teams at that point. The rockets can get a legit Point guard and Yi might be better with Yao there. You don't lose much. Battier is a good role player and ariza is a decent bench player.

The nets would get a solid role player that can shoot and play D which is Battier, which they would need IF we get wall and james. I do say if. I know its a long shot. But we can dream. And ariza would be good as a fast break guy with these two players.

No bad trade...

We are set at the pg position

No need to trade both our sf's for garbage and another star pg.

Yeah, pretty heinous deal for the Rockets that does not address any weaknesses or show any understanding of the current team structure. I'm guessing this is more of a "hey - they have a tall Chinese guy there, so they want Yi" line of thinking. ;)

If you replace one of Ariza or Battier with someone else, maybe

The value is okay, but probably less than we'd expect considering Harris' down year and contract, and the fact that Yi totally sucks.

The fit is undeniably terrible, though.

Sorry but Harris is far from a "legit point guard". We already have a faster, more cheaper version of Harris in Brooks.

LMAO fool

Lowry + Brooks = Devin Harris
And he would fit right into this team, he is a leader and draws more fouls than Martin.
Harris is a star PG in this league.

I think we can all agree, that it wouldn't be wise to lose both Ariza and Battier though...

BTW Morey4president....
There is no "more cheaper" its just "cheaper"

he's like rockets board english teacher or something
that's why he's not good in math

lowry+brooks = harris
brooks = 3pts shooter
harris = can't shoot
3pts shooter != can't shoot
therefore
lowry+brooks = harris
is false

btw
just check
beside harris awesome all-star season
martin actually got more fta per game than harris
