Al is a cheater. First he was telling every reporter how he loves Kevin, but when he met Darko he bumped Kevin for Milicic, Love got upset and started sulking and gave up on the season.
That's how our season went, at least how I saw it :D

Some good points. As much as I go back and forth with our current post players, alot still needs to be done with our guards before we really know where we're at.

Assume we draft Turner, assume the Rube comes next year, and then stay status quo ... are there enough minutes for Al, Love, Pek, Milicic, and even Hollins? Not likely, but safe to say other than Al they are priced to sell and we need to remain open to trade any one of them if necessary.

"Kevin Love has strength and it is rebounding everything else he is a below average player and a mis match on the court period nothing a coach can do about that". ...

Very good rebounder and very good passer. Like the other post players we have, he has limitations -though at a low price.
Flip response to Love wanting out, "He has no reason to be upset, you're either a part of the problem or a part of the solution"

I think we are getting way ahead of ourselves on the Darko love. He may have "looked good" out there at times but his actual production was very mediocre, and as Dewey has pointed out the Jefferson/Darko front court's team record sucked ass.

If I were Kahn I'd be looking at alternative options. For one, I'd be looking into what it would take to get Marcin Gortat from Orlando. He's rotting away stuck behind Howard and clearly deserves a much bigger role.

That would be great. I'm a Gortat fan also. Unfortunately, I think it might be prohibitively expensive to get him away from Orlando.

Yikes. Gortat makes tons of money. He's looked horrible all year until Sunday's Boston game. Defensively he'd be similar to Pekovic. Not terrible, not a game changer.

I don't think were overrating Darko at all. For what we'll be trying to pay him, $4 mil or so, he will be an incredible value.

Watch some of his game tapes. He has a ton of nifty plays each game.

I don't get the high level of Gortat love. He might have been a guy to give a shot as a starter, if the Mavs hadn't given him that ridiculous contract.

I suppose that between the two, I'd choose Gortat in a vacuum (if they're paid the same, and don't take additional assets to acquire), but I think we could sign Darko for less money without trading away anything.

If Darko was going to cost us that much, I think I'd rather trade Flynn + whatever for another high pick and just bring in Aldrich.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Yeah, I know about Darko's nifty plays, but I also know about his poor shooting and rebounding. I guess if he accepted $4 that would be ok. I'd much rather have a center that's actually good instead of just a "good value".

I just don't what to think about Darko and I'm scared we will overpay him.

I guess if we fail at the lottery tomorrow there's always Cousins.

Wow. I didn't realize Gortat was making so much $$$. Who spends the full MLE on a guy playing 13 minutes per night?

The same team that gave Rashard Lewis a max deal...

don't forget the darko we saw at the end of the year hadn't played a game in like 3-4 months, was ridiculously out of shape and rusty as hell, he will be extreme value at 4-5 mil when he comes into camp in great shape after a summer working hard, i really look forward to seeing him play at full capacity next season..(that is if he signs back!...PLEASE SIGN DARKO!!)
