Or the Pau ending....

Yeah that'd be the worst -- not actually signing LeBron when it looks to be a done deal. I know KC wouldn't sign LBJ if he was the GM. Gotta make room for Rose and JJ.

I remember reports when Kobe was in Chicago looking at houses too lol.

What do you guys think will be more satisfying:

The ending of Lost or the ending of the LeBron sweepstakes?

There were reports Tyrus was looking for houses in Phx because he knew he was going to be traded. If I were you guys, I wouldn't get to worked up over all of this BS. Especially from no name uncredible sources.

I should know this question being from central Florida but when Shaq left Orlando, was it known way before FA period that he was Laker bound?

The reason I ask is can LBJ be telling people he is Chicago bound

That is actually correct because when I was in high school it was like maybe back in May sometime around there. Reports flying around that Shaq is going to LA and that was waaaaaaaaaay before free agency period and when it comes he did in fact sign with LA.

Shaq never left Orlando for LA, why would he go play in the shadow of.....

But ya as I recall people knew it was a done deal for quite awhile, of course Shaq has never been one to keep his mouth shut.

If NJ wins the lotto tomorrow, I think our odds will take a considerable hit. Prokhorov just seems ruthless, IMO. He will do what needs to be done. It should also probably put a kibosh on the media love for the Bulls, expect them to get tired of that and start drooling over John Wall.

There's also the worrisome scenario of Cleveland being gifted someone on draft day, akin to a bottom of the 9th game winning grand slam; much like the lakers were gifted Pau.

And finally, the cavs convincing Phil to jump ship and coach the team, thus convincing lebron to stay.

Those are the 3 factors that I think could derail this whole seemingly endless flow of good news/press/vibes. Hopefully one of these factors will be eliminated tomorrow.

The thing I remember about his free agency is it was always between Orlando and the Lakers in the time before free agency. It always seemed like a 50/50 proposition in which team he would sign with untile the very end as it seemed like Shaq wanted to be more than just a basketball player and wanted the allure of Hollywood and the west coast. His decision certainly wasn't based on winning as the team he left behind in Orlando was young and talented.

I think the bigger question is, who is our Desmond?

Clevelanders sing 'Please stay LeBron'

The city of Cleveland really likes LeBron James. How much?

A group called 'Clevelanders for LeBron' -- featuring local politicians, entertainers, TV and radio personalities and mascots -- joined forces to beg the King to stay ... and they did it to the tune of 1985 classic "We Are the World."

Let's say NJ doesn't land #1....would a team take Harris + NJ's pick (top 4) for #1? or is John Wall THAT good? I personally have never seen him play.

Noah. Its the hair. You ever seen him blow dry that thing? Desmondesque waves up in there. Can't you picture Noah at the bottom of that well asking LeBron "what would you tell the fans when they asked why?"

Edit: why go to NY that is...

Lebron is Desmond
Rose is Jack
Noah is Sawyer

I was gonna say Rose was Desmond but like Jack he was forced into that leadership role. Noah is naturally a Sawyer type. LBJ is the key hahaha much like Desmond is the key.

Let's look at the Phil Jackson situation more closely. Why would the Bulls contact him unless they were selling him the possibility of coaching LeBron? It doesn't make sense that having a core of Rose, Noah, Joe Johnson, and Boozer would warrant placing a call to him. If the Bulls are sending feelers for PJax, the only scenario where it makes sense is if LeBron is involved.

It's possible but I doubt it if Wall is as hyped up as he is to be.

Hypothetically, what does Toronto plan on getting?
