Our only hope is that Ji and Irene Pollin cancel each other out. A two wrongs make a right type of deal.

Not a chance, bro. We have to see this through to the end.

I'm convinced Ji gets some kind of sick, sadistic pleasure out of this. Or he simply thinks curses are a bunch of bull... either or.
That said I'm pulling for top 3, and a shot at Favors wouldn't hurt either...

I think curses are a bunch of bull, but negativity is annoying nonetheless, not because of any putative effect on the ping pong balls or the like, but because of the real effect on people's moods.
That being said, Ji's shenanigans can be kind of entertaining for those of us who don't think he really affects the outcomes.

This will be the ultimate test to see if the curse is truly over.

Wow.
First Irene Pollin.
Now this?
We're doomed.

It's not a curse, it's karma. I truly believe that there is bad karma associated with the Pollins and that nothing positive will happen with this team until the Pollin's are completely out of the picture.

Re: The Official Draft Lottery thread
Well if its any consolation.. when the caps were up 3-1 against Montreal, i sent out a public question on facebook asking everyone if they wanted to play Philly or Boston in the next round.
I need this jinx to end because all my friends think I am a jinx and this would end it all if we got John Wall. I could post game threads, etc

That's pretty much the exact opposite of a consolation.

Whatever, you get a kick out of this ****. It's the only reason your ass is even halfway relevant on this board. You pull this sorry Jinx **** every chance you got.
Personally, I think your **** pathetic...

Yeah I don't believe in the crap though. For example if we get the 5th pick I just hope we get the next Dwayne Wade and dont trade it, etc. Then when we trade it for a couple low tier NBA players I'll hope one of them has a career year and will resign with us. And when that fails I'll go back to hoping we score big in the lotto. It's a viscious cycle, but sometimes its not so much curses as it is ineptitude. Which I hope we grow out of...

Re: The Official Draft Lottery thread
Any predictions on who jumps ahead of us?
I see Detroit for sure, they seem to be a lucky franchise, and the Clips always have luck in the lottery, so I could see them jumping up.
6th or 7th, here we come!
I'd almost rather get 8th, just so I know for SURE that someone, somewhere, is constantly giving a big "F#CK YOU, WIZ FANS" to every one of us, like it's our fault. Then we take Greivis and Ted points a middle finger to some corner of the earth while yelling "IS THAT ALL YOU GOT?!!!??"
I'll take that over Ed Davis.
