Disagree. Nothing that ANYONE says will push Wall from the #1 spot. It's not like this draft is between Oden and Durant. Wall is the #1 pick.

With the exception of Pete Carroll and Matt Sanchez?

uhhh...That's not the point. The point is coaches don't usually roll players under a bus.

Yeah I think ICMTM has a very valid point. Presumably, he was asked about this, and he answered in a way so as to not hurt his guy's draft stock--or even possibly make things look at all negative for him. You can argue that Wall would still be the consensus #1 pick, but that doesn't change the fact that a coach isn't going to say anything that could be perceived as negative about his prospect.

Ahh...it feels nice to agree with you on something for once.

I actually like Turner and think Turner and Evans could work together of course the Kings could use a center more.

I think it's no doubt that they would have to trade out of the spot but it's all about getting proper value for the pick or Wall or Evans.

Wall and Evans is worse than Martin and Evans.

It will never work.

How so? Martin didn't want Martin and Evans to work.

Except Martin and Wall are nothing alike at all.

Wall/Evans can work for exactly the reason that Evans/Martin did not and the same reason that Evans/Udrih does - both are primary ballhandlers AND scorers. They are also both big and can interchange the guard spots as necessary.

I really hope you're right about this. I just think the difference is the fact that Wall isn't the shooter that Beno is. Then you must factor in Egos and the sense of entitlement that Wall or Evans Might have if/when they get together.

Am I the only one who doesn't want to pick John Wall?

I am not going to say I don't want to pick Wall but I know where you're coming from since I have some reservations about picking him. I personally would love to get Turner.

My optimism for a Wall/Tyreke dou is increasing by the day.

And yet there are four guys in this draft I'd be very happy getting, and a fringe one in Aldrich, so whatever happens I'm probably happy. Long as we don't take a SF.

I just think a super backcourt it isn't going to be a winning team. I think you need balance.

I don't understand how people can say "Team X will be picking at #X".

Isn't the drawing of those slots later today? Unless, the lottery is truly rigged, the person shouldn't have any information regarding the potential slots for each team.

I basically agree, but I also think you still definitely have to take him. You just can't sacrifice a guy who is really the third most hyped prospect of this decade.
