I know there a draft board for this I really been studying this kid. kind of reminds me of a young T mac type of player shoots the 3 effortless make amazingly plays around the rim , rebounds and pass pretty good. A good defender. What are everyone though's?on him he is under the radar in my opinion. I happen to agree with you. I think Johnson is solid and would not be a bad 3 for the Wizards for years to come.

Now if we could just get the rest of the group to buy into that...

TMac type? I say Danny Granger type. He does have a knack for rebounds and defense, which i think is understated on the draft board which gives him a little iggy in his game. At a shade under 200 lbs he's a little light for my liking when compared to Aminu. Both him and Aminu would be decent options at the 3 and it allows us to boot both Howard and Miller. If you put a gun to my head i'd take Johnson by a hair just because he's such a fantastic shooter. Plus the C's have proven that you don't need a "lebron stopper" at SF to beat him. You need a good PF/C combo which I think we do in Blatche/McGee.

I think the first half of the lottery is too early to draft for need. I think the Wizards really have to go with Best Player Available. The Wizards do need to upgrade the SF position, but passing should not pass up better talent to do it.

I certainly respect Doc and others who are now leaning towards Aminu,
but I like guys who are already good, or very good shooters. Johnson
could end up working out very well for us, as could Monroe I believe.
Or even Aldrich.

in all likelihood aminu and johnson are the two best players available to us, unless you REALLY factor in monroe and whiteside's upside.

Johnson looks pretty good, as does Aminu. Which of course means we definitely will be getting the #7 pick to ensure we can't get either of them...

But um, if we get #5, I'm getting comfortable with that pick. Johnson looks like he might be a pretty solid SF - perhaps even an outside shot at a great one. We could live with this pick.
