There is NO WAY Philly passes on Turner.

You guys will have your choice of Favors or Cousins, rest assured. And frankly, while Turner would be great, I think the fact that you guys consider PF a huge priority (looking at your recent threads) means it works out well for you.

Trades aside...just pure drafting for the Nets, best fit...best available...there are numerous trade scenarios and I'm definitely not doubting we wont be involved in one...

Doesn't let the Nets win the lottery to not raise our chances for LeBron so Chicago has a shot and sends Wall to...Washington!

Demarcous Cousins is the obvious choice at the third pick if Turner is gone. Favors is to raw for my liking...

Why take Harris's contract when they could take Wall's, unless we eat one of their contracts, which I would do figuratively and literally.

Lol calm down. People need to remember we have 2 players perfectly capable of playin the point on this team and we can finaly replace Yi's softness at the 4.

Had some time to think about it and Im very neutral about this, not feeling one way or another.
Granted on 1 hand we could have gotten the 4th pick and THAT would've sucked on the other hand we could've gotten the 1st or 2nd pick which would have been awesome.

On the bright side were getting a player that has all star potential and fills a need.
Granted we might be out of the Lebron running but we're we ever really there?

Btw there's no doubt in my mind that Cousins is our guy, not Favors.

I actually don't have a Blackberry. I feel odd carrying an HTC phone at work.

Well, both these guys(Favors, Cousins) are elite big men prospects, probably the two best in a while, including Blake Griffin.

After watching those highlights i like what i see from Cousins. Nice size and active on the offensive glass(something we need badly). When i heard someone comparing him to Eddy Curry awhile back i ran for the hills, but he looks like hes in great shape and actualy athletic. Also seems much more nba ready than Favors.

Favors will be the better defender. Cousins will be the better rebounder. This is I can say almost for sure.

there is a digestion process...

You want another scenario...nothing can be worse than the Pistons and their fools gold, having to own up to drafting Darko and all the hype while today missing out on 4 allstars...at least we'll be drafting a player with serious potential and talent or trading for a blue chip...WE KNOW, we'll end up with something to build on...its all about build blocks, just gotta add another one to the Nets foundation and keep building...

Seriously Nets fans, it would be dumb to take Counsins. He's not going to be able to bull people in the paint like in college, and his defense is to be desired. Also, he's a headcase. Just take Favors.

Just because we got the 3rd, it doesn't mean that is where we will draft. With Prokohrov in the fold Thorn can be aggressive in his trades.

I'd like to see how workouts go but I like Favors more than Cousins right now purely because of how good he is defensively. His defense, rebounding and length are exactly what we need at PF. His relatively raw offense does not bother me because he's 19 and Lopez is already a primary post option.
