What's the worst case scenario in this year's draft?

Post#1 » by Gilfanatic123 » Wed May 19, 2010 1:20 am

I don't really think anything could be worse than the 2001 draft. There is John Wall. But what if we don't select John Wall? Who else would it seem likely that the Wizards select? And secondly, if the Wizards do select John Wall, what about the possibility that he could be a bust? There have been a number of college superstars that came to the NBA and ended up being busts in the past few years... Joe Alexander comes to my mind... and they've ended up being busts. So I ask the board- what's the worst case scenario?
To do list
==========
1. Fire Ernie Grunfield
2. Get a GM who doesn't screw the fans all the time
3. Beat the Cavaliers in the playoffs
4. Get the no.1 draft pick
5. Get John Wall

John Wall decides to take an ill-advised Motorcycle ride like Jay Williams.

Worst case scenario, Wiz owners gets cheap and trade Arenas with the 1st round pick for expirings, cash and first rounders, that's a true worst case scenario.

Did Donald Sterling buy the Wizards? Fortunately there is no way Leonsis would make such a bone-headed move.

In all fairness of selecting Kwame Brown, who were you going to select other than him. Eddy "rob and sit" Curry, Tyson "thank you CP3" Chandler, Shane Battier?

Supposedly Jordan liked Rodney Wright the best in that draft.... so that draft could have actually gone worse.

They will pick Hall
