Probably, and I love that we cleaned our houses of veteran trash totally incapable of winning anything and thoroughly capable of pinning the blame for said failings always and in perpetuity on the young guys. Maybe Blatche, and Young, and McGee are idiots. Maybe they'll never get it. But the one thing I do know is that we actually played better w/them, and some Clipper and Mavericks cast offs, than we ever did this year or last With Caron or Antawn.
I love that we have a ton of cap space, a lot of youth, and John Wall, and the 30th and 35th picks. Really the only thing this team needs is a great veteran leader w/loads of character to help be a mentor to the kids. In the space of a few minutes on tuesday, May 18th, 2010, a cursed franchise became a blessed franchise, and can now look forward to potentially legitamently contending for conference championships, and even league championships within 2-3 years. The key now, is that everything we do, surrounding drafting John Wall, is wise. We don't want to waste this opportunity as Cleveland wasted theirs with LeBron, and Minnesota theirs with Garnett. Got to make smart draft decisions at 30 and 35, and smart free agent decisions, and the right decisions on guys currently on the roster. Hell I might keep Livingston and get rid of Arenas, just so Wall could see what sheer determination could do for a player, but i guess there's no point now that we have Arenas and Wall to keep Livingston, I just like him more than Arenas as a value/character/chemistry guy these days.
