Re: Kamla on KFAN
Was he pretty pissed? Saying anything about if he heard about someone the Wolves really wanted and are still going to target? I hope Kahn has a hard-on for Turner like me and sees how much he'd help us.

Re: Kamla on KFAN
Yeah, I know. I guess I thought I mentioned something else about Kamla in there but the last sentence was just kind of a point that really wasn't need, just hoping that maybe Kahn or someone had mentioned something that Kamla got wind of.

Re: Kamla on KFAN
Kamla's inside info that the Wolves don't think they have a single starter currently on the team is pretty shocking. Quibbles aside, Jefferson and Love are clearly quality NBA starters. Maybe they mean starters the plan on keeping and both of them will be shipped out.

yea, I think it is more of a "for our team" then a value thing.
btw, I do not trust his sources there.

Re: Kamla on KFAN
Or maybe he's just confusing it with the whole, "Not number one or two players on a championship team" thing. Either way, the guy sounded really pissed. I don't think he has a lot of faith in Kahn and he seems rather perturbed at the current direction.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

He's probably just emotional after the lottery. I know I would be if I wasn't already such a pessimist

I like that I can tune out of PA and Dubay for like 2 years and come back and still get the "diseased!" and "buzzkill" catch phrases thrown in, its like going to grandmas house and always the same couch, tv, table every year and always in the same place. Nostalgia

Re: Kamla on KFAN
Kamla did sound pretty ticked (and tired).
I found it amusing that he doesn't want to spend the $ on Darko, and is still drinking the Al and Love can play together kool-aid.
Also interesting that he'd rather sign Morrow to 5 yr 25 mil, than Gay to a contract because we'd be over paying and Memphis would match.

I agree on both points, I think Big Al and Love could play together if they were allowed to continue to develop together with a coach that believes in them, and I too prefer Morrow for MLE money than Gay for close to max money. Both points are pure genius, he sounds like he's as smart as he is handsome

Morrow for MLE money is a disaster waiting to happen.

Wouldn't that be a good thing? Mess up their cap...

but that's all he does. I don't even know if he can come off screens and hit shots, or off the dribble...

Re: Kamla on KFAN
he can handle a bit from the few GS games I've seen. At least he tries to handle the ball, don't know if he's that good at it. I'd need some in depth metrics w/ FG% on 1 dribble pullups and **** like that. Wolves probably have that

Korver and Kapono got MLE deals for the same reason.
I also don't trust players coming out of Nellie ball.
