It was pretty good, filled with the same scripted answers that kahn gave in every other post-lottery interview...except a little more light-hearted and patrick spent half the interview trying to get kahn to admit taking rubio over steph curry was a horrible mistake...kahn just laughed. Patrick seemed pretty arrogant towards the wolves, kinda pissed me off...but maybe that's just hypersensitivity carrying over from last night =/ lol...but yeah I'd check it out when you can, just more assurances that we are not done yet.

They had a little summary on there...

Minnesota Timberwolves president David Kahn joined the show to talk about the NBA draft. The T'Wolves ended up with the No. 4 overall pick in last night's lottery.

Kahn is not a fan of being at the draft lottery. "It's truly a hideous experience," Kahn said. "It's just the worse. First of all, they have you go early. You have no control of what's going to happen."

Kahn said when the Nets didn't get the No. 1 pick, "there was a huge gasp in the room."

Kahn defended his choice of Ricky Rubio in the first round last season, even though he's still in Europe. "We would definitely draft Rubio again," Kahn said. Kahn expects Rubio to come to Minnesota at some point in the near future.

Kahn said he isn't sure about what they'll do in this year's draft. He said they might try to move up, and he thinks they have a lot of pieces to package in a trade.

"I don't think anyone knows what this draft is going to be like," Kahn said. "It hasn't shaken out yet."

Kahn said he would consider John Wall even though they're loaded with point guards. "If it was the best player available and we think it was the best thing for the franchise ... absolutely," Kahn said.

Dan Patrick is saying he should of taken Curry and that Evan Turner would look really good for us and that he thinks Kahn is going to trade up for him, Kahn kind of dodged it. He said what would we do with Curry then? So who knows.

Yea he was really rubbing it in Kahn's face. I think the good news is that Kahn's pride is definitely tied up in the franchise now. People are already thinking he's a major idiot and respect for him is fading. Now he has to be extremely motivated to get this franchise running in the right direction.

Why would Patrick be bitching about the Rubio pick?

If he's going to criticize, why doesn't he criticize the Flynn over Curry move? It was actually a mistake; as opposed to the Rubio pick, which the majority of GMs would have made.

This has me rolling my eyes. Like this.

Whatever, I still believe that if you put Flynn on the warriors he lights up as well. Curry probably would be better than Flynn in our system however as he is an ideal triangle point guard... but of course, we drafted Flynn without a coach and thinking we were going to be a run and gun team.
