Its a combination of things. Charisma. Success. Flashiness. Franchise. It all comes together. Note that franchise is part of it. Does Kobe have that type of market share if he spent his career as a Pacer?
If he won all those titles..... Yes. A Great player will be famouse regardless. There's no denying the NY knicks are a profitable franchise but i disagree that they're better positioned than the Bulls on a marketability standpoint.
