I only have 11 posts on Realgm because I used to post on Lakersground and clublakers almost every day for a few years.

James Johnson is also friends with a few guys on the Bulls and I bet you he doesn't know what you do with the same certainty.

Thanks for the info. I'm sure you can understand our skepticism given the number of people coming out of the woodwork lately as insiders.

...........

The thought of
Rose
Hinrich
Lebron
Bosh
Noah

Seems too good to be true. The fact that its even slightly plausible is scary. LBJ and Bosh are 25 too. Noah is 24 and Rose is 21. You are looking at a good 6 year run.

In my opinion.

Something that is rarely discussed or mostly glossed over, is why LeBron is switching to #6 specifically. I think it has more meaning than Russell and Dr J (which IMO is mostly BS, as he didn't watch them play live). I believe wearing #6, on his back, is the constant reminder of what number he has to beat in world titles to become the GOAT. Only the King would dare to take that daunting task of trying to best his childhood hero.

The real question is, does LBJ have the nads & ego big enough to attempt this in the house MJ built.

That's the type of place he could buy no matter where he was playing... I mean he spend all offseason here anyway.

A house in the northern burbs, however, not so much.

Whats funny is that Zach Sederman I think is his name, looked up some of the expensive houses on Sheridan Road and found a 7 million dollar house. He called the Realtor and said he was World Wide Wes. The realtor's response was " You're not world wide wes", they started laughing but then were like "Wait a second how does she know how World Wide Wes sounds like."

Zadman? on the score?

This doesn't make sense at all. I haven't heard anything about LeBron looking at houses. Why would he buy a house in that neighborhood? He's not going to be looking at buying a house right now before free agency starts. A lot of former and current Bulls players live in Deerfield. I know Rose and Hinrich live in Deerfield. It would make sense for him to buy a house in Deerfield because the Berto Center is in Deerfield and he can drive to the UC for the games.

Jordan's house is in Highland Park and Highland Park is right next to Deerfield. Also, Highland Park has the lakefront LeBron may be interested in. Having said all that, I agree.. I don't buy these particular rumors...

If Lebron only wins one championship in his career it will be considered a pretty big disappointment/failure. That's true anywhere he plays, IMO.

Look at Wilt...won two titles and that's considered something of a failure.

You have consistently missed the meaning of every post I've written in this thread. I'll try again: Even though they have a terrible history, they are still - from a fame and notoriety standpoint - one of the 3 core franchises in the NBA. The Lakers. The Celtics. The Knicks. It is the fact that they have this status despite a relatively crappy history that buttresses my point.

Um..... what

Youre smoking the ESPN rock I can tell

I'm busted. I'm a huge Knicks homer, want LeBron to land there, and have no objectivity on this issue due to the huge greatness of the Knicks and all things New York. My wife is pregnant with our third child. If its a boy, I'm naming him Bill Bradley. If its a girl, I'm naming her John Starks.

The key to Bosh is this IMO -

1. Bosh informs Toronto before July 1st he isn't coming back and he wants to be traded. He states he wants a S&T. Now he can be dealt to us or anyone for players or a Trade Exception +/- picks.

2. Chicago inquires about Toronto's interest in Deng before July 1st. They've shown interest in the past ('06 draft and at this year's deadline -- T9's rumor). If Toronto does not appear to have interest in Deng's deal or his fit with the team -- we must quickly look to deal him to a team under the cap. In 2006, we inquired whom would be interested in Chandler a day before the draft. The talks of that deal were pretty much done before July 1st. Same thing must occur. I think this can be achieved -- depending on whom Minny/Sacto drafts this is quite possible.

If Minny takes Cousins, I see Al Jeff being dealt. Perhaps they deal him to say Washington (under the cap), we send them Deng, and Washington sends us a future protected 1st for cap-space.

Just throwing out ideas. I do think by July 1st, most teams will have an inkling on what is going to happen and how to prepare for it.

LeBron and his family won't have any privacy in New York. He's going to be in the media every single day and the media is going to treat him like **** if he doesn't win a ring.

Weiner posted this after I emailed him on his article...

Clarification

I posted last evening that LeBron was seen on Tuesday looking for houses in HP, but in fact he was seen Monday. I apologize for the confusion. I made the post while producing the Blackhawks-Sharks game 2 and clearly mistyped. So, for clarification purposes it was Monday, not Tuesday, and has been changed in the original article.
