Hey Wiz Fans---

Im a Bobcats fan who does graphic design. But Im also a big NBA fan in general and Im really excited about your (Probable) next player in John Wall. So I decided to do a 'jersey switch' and give everyone a look at Wall in a Wiz uni!

Not bad. But, you should note that the Wizards changed their color scheme from blue/black/bronze to blue/black/gold. So the trim color you're using is a little dark - and a little dated.

Other than that (and, the fact that #11 is retired), good work.

Can somebody photoshop Wall's head onto a picture of Wall-E holding a basketball? And somehow throw Gil and his Golden Eagle in there as well? Thanks!

We're gettin' John Wall!

Will-B's plan sounds gravy, but what I really take from this thread is that as rubbish as our jersey's have been, the dark copper was cooler. Seems if we just had altered the 'Manatee-just-peed-in-the-sea' blue we might have had something less objectionable.

I suppose I really should be getting around to a new Sig. I might have to just alter my Baltimore Bullets 'get on the bus' sig. Maybe have the buss about to crash into a brick wall.

Also, can I get Gil and Wall to be sitting on a bandwagon. I would say have bandwagon written in small print on the front of the wagon, then "Melo in 2011" written in big print on the side of the wagon. Maybe have Chris Anderson and Kenyon Martin getting crushed under the wheels. And Javal McGee can be leaping off the wagon in some aimless direction...

^ I dunno, Hoop. I'm not a big fan of the Wizards unis either, but I think the gold makes the uniform pop a lot more than that dusty bronze/brown trim did. Unlike the Caps' old black/bronze sweaters, the Wizards didn't use enough bronze to make it worthwhile - it just kinda looked muddy next to the black.

In any event, I wonder if that minor tweak made it less likely that the Wizards will change their unis any time soon. At a minimum, they need to come out with a new "alt" jersey. Perhaps they could go the route of the Cavs/Mavs/Blazers and create a pseudo-retro "fan appreciation" kit based on the classic Wes-era Bullets jerseys.

i always wanted alt jerseys that were all black. black on black with white trim. that would be sexy

But is it really gold, or more of a metallic-lemon?

We got the Hughes but not the hues.

It must be summer. I'm as much a fan of Project Runway as the next guy... But man all this uniform talk is getting me pretty darned ready for summer league. Make it work people!
