Not going to read the 90+ pages but I live in Highland Park well Highwood but it's so small I still went to Highland Park High School but whatever. What i was going to say is that a lot of my friends are saying Lebron was looking around the Sheridan/Waverly street area of HP and anyone familiar with the area knows there are ridiculous houses over there.

Hopefully he does move here since we've had other big time athletes like Pippen/Jordan/Kukoc/Cartwright and many others who have lived in HP through out the years. Kukoc is the only one left though over in Hybernia.

Chicago Gets: Chris Bosh

Lakers fill the PG need that they've been trying to for the longest. Toronto gets whatever value they can from us. We get Bosh.

could we then still get bron

Not legal. LA is over the cap. They need to send out something like $7M to get Hinrich.

It would be really hard for me to imagine a deal to Toronto where we trade Deng and Hinrich for Bosh without having another team involved to alleviate Toronto's financial burden. It simply doesn't make sense for Toronto from a basketball standpoint to be saddled with albatross contracts such as those of Deng, Hinrich, and Turkoglu with no playoffs to show for it.

I think Minnesota is a team to look at as a team that would be willing to add a player like Deng in addition to its already young core in order to facilitate a trade. That team is in sore need of players that can produce right now, as opposed to hoping that guys like Brewer and Flynn eventually develop.

I think a scenario where Toronto gets Al Jefferson, Chicago gets Bosh, and Minnesota gets Hinrich/Deng is plausible.

Why wouldn't they have interest in Deng? You think Gomes has the SF position for them on lockdown?

Deng and change for LeBron?
Taj, Hinrich, Warrick for Bosh?

Does that make sense?

Can't see Toronto on board for the $130 million owed to Deng and Arenas but its not a bad thought. We're going to need some help to get Bosh and James. We should just beg the Clippers and Wolves to take Deng.

I'd love to dump Deng onto any one of Minny, DC or the Clips, but with Iggy and Gay possibly available, along with Wes Johnson and Aminu in the draft, I just get the feeling Deng is somewhere around Plan D for all of them. Especially Minny.

How about:

Kirk and Lu to Dallas

Dampier (unguaranteed), Najera (only $500K guaranteed) and Carroll to Chicago

If the Bulls trade Deng and Hinrich for Bosh, Toronto will be paying the luxury tax for a non playoff team. Just make it Deng + picks and cross your fingers. Even then, I'm not sure Toronto does it.

If the Raps include Jarrett Jack with Bosh in exchange for Deng and Hinrich and our #17 - its a wash salary wise

They also claw back approx $800K if they could pull off a swap of Turkoglu and Biedrins - money that could be used to pick up Sonny Weems option.

If they do this they have a payroll of $66M for 12 players assuming they sign their own #13 pick and our #17 pick . They might want to bring back Rasho for the minimum

They're done at say $67M tops for a 13 man team thus avoiding the luxury tax

Biedrins
Bargnani
Deng
Derozan
Calderon

bench
Nesterovic
Udoh ( at #13 )
George ( at #17 )
Weems
Hinrich

Evans
Belinelli
Banks

Not a bad team ( on paper ) that you would expect to be competitive

New Jersey also might be a landing spot to absorb Deng ??? :D

Deng to the Clippers for a 2nd rounder.

They are under the cap and have a hole at SF.

Who here would take the Turk if it was the only way we could get Bosh to Chicago?
