There is no way the Nets burn a free agent's worth of cap space on AK before the draft. :)

LMAO. Speaking russian is a very valuable trading asset these days isn't it?

If he's so damn infatuated with AK, he should have just bought the Jazz...

I'm pretty sure he'd love to add AK. Since he wants to "bring basketball from New Jersey to Brooklyn to Moscow". But he can get AK next year for less than half the price without giving up anything. The Nets will not trade the 3rd pick and about 17 million in cap space for AK and a worse pick.

Now I see why Portland might be after the 3rd pick. They have Przybilla!

Jazz might have to also add Tomic then.

no Tomic + no.9 > no.3 pick. People on this board dont realize how good Tomic is.

He wonlt trade for AK for 3rd pick, but Might trade his second round pick + a player for Kirlinko if the jazz are willing to let him go to get cap space to sign other player(s)

How about Kirlinko and jazz's 2nd round draft pick for New jerseys 2nd round pick-first pick of the 2nd round- and Tony Battie. Jazz save 8 mil!! We get Battie for one year as defensive Center!

Nets are rebuilding, why the hell would they trade a #3 pick who would make $4 M a year for an expiring contract in the biggest free agency year ever?

What do you guys think of this? 3 Way Deal

Jazz Trade: 9th pick
Memo
Jazz Receive: Brook Lopez

Nets Trade: Brook Lopez
Devin Harris
#3 pick

Nets Receive: # 1 pick (wall)
Memo

Wizards Trade: #1 pick

Wizards Receive: # 3 pick
# 9 pick
Devin Harris

I would like to see the Jazz get something back as well (mike miller for example but i think he's a free agent)

Thoughts?

I'm assuming Harris goes to the Wizards?

I would do this in a heartbeat... But I think NJ and WAS will have to say no.

The Wizards might do that if each team in threw in some future picks, but the nets definitely say no. Brook Lopez is a top 5 center, and the best young center not named dwight howard. No chance.
